Camera comes with two lenses I believe (correct me if I am wrong) and I think the price is pretty good (dropped by 22% or the equivalent of $270. Again, please correct me if it's not a good price - I am not too knowledgeable regarding camera prices.

      In terms of image quality D5100 compares with the 60D if not better (it does use the same reputable sensor as the D7000). In terms of features, depending on what you need, it compares with the 60D otherwise it fits between the 600D and 60D for everyday features for the average shooter (60D wins easily because of the built in motor, battery life, viewfinder and crossover autofocus if it's for a everyday user)

  This camera has no internal focus motor. You are limited to the lens you can use and they are very expensive. Buy a D90 where you can buy cheaper lenses or save up for a D7000.
