You’d hope the furniture isn’t made in China or any country with low labour rates. But I bet you 70% of it is.
Nah, all the furniture is made in Scandinavia, mostly Denmark. Incredibly high quality, but with a huge price tag.
Their 'string' shelving system looks incredibly flimsy.
If you bought that system OP, I hope it all works out for you and that it just looks flimsy!
Yep that's what we got! Seemed pretty sturdy in the store. Plus it's drilled in the wall, so should be alright
I’ve got String Shelving. It’s super sturdy, but just don’t overload the shelves (eg with books). 15kg limit for 78cm shelves, 25kg for 58cm wide. The higher weight limit on the 58cm is because there is less flex and a smaller gap between the supports. Made in Sweden FYI too

If you’re finding these pieces in op shops, BUY THEM! They’ll resell for thousands. I’ve found the odd mid-century / Danish gem myself and sold it on

I bought some of their pillows a whole back. Incredibly expensive, look great though and they last. It's not for everyone.
