Another day, another online dropship store shows up…

I didn't hear about TEMU until recently; and apparently quite legit and popular in the US.

Anyway, saw this 65W USB car charger, but what got my eyes focussed was it also includes a multi-head cable for the price. The store seems to be doing a grand opening special on this for $13.89 shipped.

    Double check if your car insurance covers chargers lol. Bank West was giving out free car chargers, and someone in the office had either their car or phone damaged when the charger melted down. Can't remember which it was.

  I just want a USB-C one that plugs into the wall. There have been a few posts, but none anywhere near as cheap as this.

  Looking at the spec, it appears this only does the full 65W PD output with 24V input.

  It's not super clear, but with 12v input, then you only get 12V 3A PD output - so 36W. And it won't charge most laptops.

  This is common for cheap car PD chargers. They only have voltage step down converters, not step up or down.

  I use a Baseus 100W car charger for a laptop as it does 20V output even with a 12V input. It's about double the price though.

    The Baseus model is labelled 160W, but that is total - the PD USB-C output is 100W.

  I find it hard to believe that this car charger has 876 reviews. So when I scrolled through it includes other items for sale also.
  As other people in the comments have stated I would recommend buying a Baseus PD charger such as the 100W and 160W versions.
  I have both and they charge my Dell XPS laptop without issue and also seem to be able to fast charge whatever device is plugged in, whether it be my laptop, Google Pixel, Samsung TAB S7+, they all say "fast" or "super fast" charging.

    Made 2 orders last month:

    1. Ordered on 13 March, delivered on 21 March
    2. Ordered on 22 March, delivered on 3 April

    AusPost is used, and delivered to Parcel Locker. Faster than AliExpress IMHO
