      It's not that great a deal.

      The minimum spend amount sits between box numbers for me (toric lenses, different in each eye), so I have to buy four boxes as buying three is silly.

      So 4 boxes works out only about $3 cheaper per box than buying them from Bupa. Still bought them because I need them, but i've never found much value in Specsaver's deals. Maybe other people with simpler prescriptions have a better time.

        Why not buy 3 boxes using this deal on one account and another 3 boxes on another account. You will then have even number of boxes and have also maximised used of discount.

          Coz I don't really want to buy 6 boxes either. If my prescription changes, then I have to use them up first.

    I’ve seen better deals from Specsavers before. Last time they had $30 off $119, plus 20% cash back from Cashrewards. But this deal hasn’t come back for a while. So if you’re in need of restocking your contact lenses, this current deal isn’t that bad after all, but make sure you combine it with Cashrewards (10% for new customer, 5.6% for exisiting customers).

      I strongly recommend Quicklens, have been buying from them for years. Also recently found an even cheaper place for what I needed (B+L Ultra, feels better than Acuvue), called Contact Me. Both are aus sites, never had an issue with either. Quicklens has sales often for 15 or 20% off so I wait for those, or if Contact Me has what I need then I buy from them.

    Also, be prepared for serious shipping delays. Ordered some 2 weeks ago, still no shipping information. Called head office, they didn't really care, even local stores that might have sample lenses couldn't help me. Also, they're manufactured in Hungary.

    TLDR: don't rely on Specsavers if you need them soon, good deal if you can wait/remember to order ahead of time

      I am also waiting for lenses ordered on 4th March - also did not receive shipping info. This is the longest delay I've experienced and I've been ordering my lenses from Specsavers for years.
