Do you have a recommendation on where to buy cheap seafood?

    As you haven't mentioned where, in the 801 thousand km² area of NSW you are, I'll take a wild guess and recommend the one below.

    Excelsior Seafood Centre

    SFM is the most well known one …
    But sometimes "the best" does not equal quality, nor prices.

    Nelson Bay Fish Market is an option to consider.

      There is 2137km of coastline in NSW so should be good results somewhere.

    Flemington markets at Homebush has generally decent price, gets pretty packed though.

    Costis, ground floor, near woolies at Roselands shopping centre.

    Not that cheap but bloody delicious

  • Just go to the ocean mate. I hear they are running out of fish so they will be charging a lot more anyway.
    Might as well just grab your share while there is still a few left in the ocean. Especially if you love seafood, they are running out so be quick!
