In case anyone is still eyeing this phone and waiting to save a bit more like me - you can actually get $150 discount instead of $100 by calling 13 36 22 and asking Apple to price match Vodafone.
You can pay with GC - either redeem it to your account or provide it during the phone call however for the balance, you can either take the difference from your Apple account or pay with CC.
