I have one and the sound is great for a portable speaker. I just wish it could go a little louder.

On another note.. mine has stopped charging 2.5weeks out of warranty.. the port has some how come loose within. Im now jumping through hoops to see if it can be repaired or replaced.

    • ACCC is your mate.

      • +3

Im finding so many businesses these days just blatantly ignore ACCC.. even after you educate them about your rights.. and even link them to certain pages on the ACCC website.

        • Yep, they call your bluff or are too low down on the chain. I imagine a 19-year-old replying to online customer queries.

Not worth it even at this price. Get a anker soundcore boost!

    • How's the anker perform over this?

      • -2

Anker is on comparison with the bose soundlink mini . Absolutely blows any jbl out of the water. Never buying JBL again unless it top end audiophile stuff.

Thanks mate I just ordered one for $60 from Amazon with Prime.

edit: scratch that, I went back and got a second one cuz you know, why not.

Enjoy. I have 2 also. When you connect them the stereo sound is pretty stunning. Best speaker in my opinion under $200.

      • Is this worth the extra $9?

        • $9 to get USB-C instead of Micro-USB I'll buy it! LoL

    • They're still on special for $60 .

    Micro usb :(

    • Is it really that old a model?

      • +1

Wonderboom 3 is micro usb, waiting for flip 6 deal

  • If it connected to my Flip 4 I would get one (same for the Flip 5 and 6).

  • I'm confused. Which of the above linked Anker on Amazon speakers is better? The $69 one or the $60.18 one?

    • The Boost is on special (prime only as it turns out) but the Soundcore 2 is RRP. So the Boost is much better value at that price.

Thank you. I ordered the Boost, it arrived, sounds awesome so bought two more for presents. Well recommended!

        • Give TWS (true wireless stereo) a try if you're able to.

  • What do people use for their Mac Minis? Are there any cheap BT speakers that doesn't switch itself off? I have a homepod mini but it requires internet access on the same wifi network.

    • Can't you plug in a 3.5mm speaker set?

      • lol Thank you! I did not even check to see if it has a 3.5mm plug cus Apple… Had thrown out my 10-yr old 5.1 anyway. Guess I can get a 2.1 or something.
