Ultimate Nappy pants at $31 too, imo better buy. I am a total convert , so much easier to put them on the kids once they start to get mobile.

    • We keep going back and forth… nappy pants are great but have higher chance of leaking. Applying barrier cream is a hassle.

      • I usually put the nappy on then apply from sides and back front. But yeah nappy creams are a pain trying to do it while they are lying down/rolling around. We mainly do it as daycare expressly asks for nappy pants only. It’s also a bit easier for my older one to learn the transition to potty imo

        • Do you guys use the creams because your babies have had nappy rash and you want to prevent it coming back or do you just use it because you've been told to use it?

We didn't even know barrier cream was a thing. We've never had to use nappy rash cream except for the one time we tried Aldi nappies.

          • @ozbs25: My older one semi frequently gets nappy rash especially during the hotter days, we find it helps soothe the area for night sleep

      • Might be just pure luck, but during summer on my days off I let our little one (2) do nappy free nudie runs while I work on the house. Left the potty in the backyard and made her aware every time we use a toilet (and that was her toilet). One day (while I was up a ladder), she just did a big poo in it. Absolute thumper (proud Dad). Lots of praise, and now she wants to use a potty or toilet every time for everything. Not sure what age they are supposed to transition, maybe 2 is normal anyway. Either way, was an instant transition. Being a Dad, I naturally clean her with a watering can full of warm water and a little bit of soap for number 2s. Mum still uses wipes. Never had any nappy rashes, and dont use any creams. Still put a nappy on her at night to be safe. All the same these days in my experience (we used to use reusables during the day). Might have helped with making her more aware of what was going on, what a wee felt like etc (as they don't have the moisture extraction bead things inside nappies). Don't know In fairness, not much humidity here. She still gets skin reactions from pool trips, but no nappy probs. I guess in summary, let em breathe.

I never found nappy pants to be more convenient, agree that they are helpful with potty training though

    • We used Ultimate nappy pants once but it doesn’t have the tape like the ultra dry has, for when you are disposing the nappies. Have they added the tape to the Ultimate now?

      • What? I’m looking at one right now and it has tape… it’s just 1 pc at the back . I guess it does kind of camouflage in with the design

Waiting for the amazon price match with S&S

Been months since 5/6 nappy pants been in stock…

      • Add size 4 to that list

    • April S&S is currently about $62 per caton

  • Thanks, good time to stock up!

  • Still too expensive, almost 50% more than I'm used to paying.

    • Do you get these for $15 bucks for 108?
