Lenovo Yoga Pad Pro (13" 2K, Android 12, 8GB/256GB, SD870, Video In/Out) US$405.55 (~A$610) Shipped @ 70mai-Goldway AliExpress

Record low price on this previously popular tablet offering high end specs and features. For starters there's an inbuilt micro HDMI port that allows you to use this tablet as a portable monitor and if you want to mirror the display on a larger screen the USB-C port features video out. The tablet has an adjustable kickstand that allows you to prop up the tablet on a desk or hang it up.

Given it has Widevine L1 DRM and the above features it's an excellent choice for playing media. Paired with the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 CPU, 8GB RAM and fast storage it's good for gaming too.

Other features include Android 11 (Android 12 via OTA, Android 13 TBD), Widevine L1 DRM for Netflix HD, 13" 2160x1350 LTPS display with 400nits brightness, 60Hz refresh rate & 100% sRGB Dolby Vision, 8GB LPDDR5 RAM, 256GB UFS 3.0 Storage, Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 CPU, 10200mAh battery with 30W Quick Charge, 4x JBL Speakers with Dolby Atmos, 8MP Front Camera, 3 inbuilt mics, WiFi 6 ax, BT 5.2 and Stylus Support.

For reviews Techtablets has a comprehensive video. The main downsides are no GPS, 3.5mm jack or microSD slot.

On the listing there's the option of Chinese or Global firmware. Ensure you choose Chinese, as that's a genuine Lenovo ROM with English, GApps, Widevine L1 and updates. The "Global firmware" is a ROM copied from another tablet, so it's buggy with an unlocked bootloader, no Widevine L1 DRM and no updates.

  • Add "Color: Chinese Firmware" to the cart
  • Apply coupons 389AN4 and AN35 at checkout
  • Further US$16 discount applied automatically

AU$ based on current Mastercard rate, GST inclusive and doesn't stack with cashback.

  • Better to get surface pro 7+ for this price?

    • +1

Native Android v. Windows on 8g ram.

  • @OP: Can't get the mentioned price. After applying both coupons, it shows me a price of 632.30 AUD. Your previous tablet deals which ere posted this week also had the same issue. In fact, you can get exact AU pricing if you change your country in Aliexpress. In doing so, you don't have to post a USD pricing and it's approximate AUD price.

    • +1

That's because you have AliExpress set to AUD or you're letting PayPal do the conversion. I base all prices off the USD price and then the current exchange rate always.

Basically you need a card without currency conversion fees added to PayPal. Then you set the website currency to USD, then at PayPal checkout select the card, choose "See currency options" and bill the card in USD. This will get you the current exchange rate.

Website AUD rates or letting PayPal do the conversion will result in the incorrect rate and a higher price. The USD price never fluctuates. The AUD price does.

      • Does Aliexpress charge immediate or do that authorisation thing on PayPal. A lot of people don't know but with the authorisation thing you can no longer do currency conversion via the card. It's Paypals new sneaky scam.

        • Pretty sure it's immediate. I haven't seen the sneaky new scam.

        • Better to use Revolut or Wise. Paypal has been doing this over the years now.

  • No sd card slot ?

    • No.

      • Shame

  • wow this is technically cheaper and better than the xiao xin pad pro right

    • actually @Clear isnt the https://www.giztop.com/lenovo-xiaoxin-pad-pro-126.html pad pro better

same specs but compatible with keyboard and has same 870 processor and 120hz display?

      • +1

Yes but it's also about A$1050 before shipping.

        • oh didnt realise the exchange rate. good point this is a huge bargain then

have you seen any deals on the cheaper 90hz 10inch version?

          • @furythree: Hard finding one without a dodgy Lenovo M10 ROM installed ontop. Reflashing takes work and Widevine L1 isn't guaranteed.

            • @Clear: arent the giztop and aliexpress official store ones ok? ive bought 2 so far and havent noticed anything

how do i check what rom i have?

              • @furythree: Which one specifically? AliExpress have no official Lenovo store.

  • My order got cancelled. Seller said they don't accept PayPal as payment and to choose another payment option.

    • That's bs from the seller. AliExpress handle the payment not them.

      • Wonder what my next step should be. Seller hasn't replied yet, but on PayPal says my money has been sent to AliExpress already but has not yet come out of my bank.

edit: got refunded. Might have to buy from another seller. Or maybe wait for the Lenovo Pad Extreme. I want a good tab that can also be used as portable monitor.
