    I have this, it’s a great fridge!

The black is a great finish and sparkles in the light. Not great if your a fridge magnet collector as it has a glass front.

      Poetic and accurate.

And now I understand why my magnets are all piled up on the floor.

once you go black, you never go back

Or buy some whiteboard markers and use the fridge as a whiteboard! To do lists, shopping lists etc etc
My Mitsubishi fridge has magnets on the sides, so the markers and any other magnets can be on the side…

Great fridge and freezer, very spacious and well designed. I have this from last 4 years.

Always call appliances online first and ask them if there is a better price, they usually give you a better price and lock it in for some amount of days.

Their phone support is 24h and Australian it blows my mind how helpful they were

    • Wish there postage service were as good.

Ordered a small heater 2 weeks ago, it's saying will be delivered end of May 🙄

Not sure, I ordered a fridge and got it delivered next day. Is it on back-order? Maybe small things get different treatment.

        • Not that I'm aware of, they haven't sent me an email regarding delay.

First time buying something from there and probably the last, if they can't get a $100 right I won't trust them with anything higher. Just my experience

    • Good tip. I'm going to be buying for later in the year so I'll call them to see if they can hold onto it for me and deliver later

      • E&S can do this, and they'll also match/beat the price 👍

  • does anybody know if this new "564L" which replaced the previous "630L" model is actually that much smaller? the physical dimensions look exactly the same so i wonder where all that volume disappeared to.

    • +12

It's the same, all fridges have had to change their capacity to reflect total useable capacity with the draws and shelves included, so i.e 630l is actually 564l

now i just need to wait for that silver model to go on sale…

I actually found out because E&S told me, they were super helpful, I got the larger 700l fridge from them, and so far great fridge

I have the 743L version of this fridge and it's great. Low power, very spacious for its footprint, and very well built.

Plus eBay offer as well to get 100 off. Different model 580 ltrs

  • Great price - picked this model up last month for $3500 delivered from Appliance Online; fitted it and took all the packaging. Appears to be on back order, bargain if your not in a rush.

  • This 564L Model is previous 630L one, 66L smaller.
But current 700L Model is previous 743L one, only 43L smaller.
    WHY?

    • It's the same, all fridges have had to change their capacity to reflect total useable capacity with the draws and shelves included, so i.e 630l is actually 564l

      https://www.westinghouse.com.au/changes-in-refrigeration-cap…

      • Yeah I mean the 700L multi drawer one utilize the volume much better than others

        • Yeah they're two different fridges, you would expect the total size of all the drawers and shelves etc to be different 👍

  • This is the one that cannot fit a 3 litre milk on the side. Be aware. Even the 700 litre cannot fit one

    • Actually I have 2 x 3l bottles in the door of my 700l, using the coles/woolies brand for reference

      • Oh and a 2l juice carton all at the same time
