iPod Touch 8GB + $20 iTunes Card - Harvey Norman $198

31

Not as good as some previously posted deals, but the best in the market today. $198 + a free $20 iTunes gift card, so essentially $178 for the iPod.

Find me a better deal and i'll happily stand corrected (and go and buy one). Ta.

I wonder what happened to the prices.. They were $169 for quite a while which seemed like the 'new low price'.. Gone back up again !!

  • Apple better upgrade processor & memory to 16GB this September, coz its been 2 years since last iPod update

I bought 3 ipod touch's from Myer yesterday for $169 each. All I had to do was purchase a pair of headphones with each ipod, $20 sony pair, making it a total purchase price of $189 with some headphones as well…

    • Really? Sounds good. Do you have a link to this please?

      • Dammit, just hiked all the way to Perth City Myer to be told there are no 20 dollar Sony headphones left in WA. Next cheapest are 40 bucks which cancels out the benefit of this deal (unless you really need expensive headphones too)

        • I have one that is for sale on eBay now as Buy It Now for $180 plus $15 postage. If you were interested, I'd sell it privately for $179 inc post to anywhere in Australia. (Without the headphones). Payment via PayPal or Bank Deposit.

        • Negative vote?? Really?? $169 + $10 Postage = $179.

Ends Sunday. Not a bad deal if you can find cheap headphones….

        $9.95 SpongeBobs anyone? ;-)

As ozblogger alluded, there is a fair chance Apple will announce a new ipod when they reveal new iphones - expected next month.

    Frequently below $180 directly.

  • Here's my opinion. Basefd on my 32gb ipod touch 4th gen, 8gb is very little - unless you know what you want to out on and you're very organised in managing songs and apps etc.
Secondly i'd rather wait another 2 months for the next gen. The 5th gen is being announced around Sept 12th, so should be released around end Sept early Nove, for Christmas.
Im only waiting becuase i kinda broke my current one, Apple really knows how to bring you back in if you have an iTunes accoutn with over $200 purchases.
