@Ron1977 I'm new to Goose down quilt. Wool quilts have something like 350gsm, 500gsm, 700gsm to indicate the weight/thickness.
Some Amazon goose down listings say theirs is 350gsm. What's about this one?
I hate my 700gsm Wool quilt, which is too heavy. Is goose down quilt supposed to be much lighter? How light is it compared to wool quilt?
Does 700gsm Goose quilt have the same physical weight as 700gsm Wool?
It says down-proof with 290 threads cover. Is 290 threads count thick enough to not have the goose down got out?
You are also selling John Cotton brand with 410 threads count cover. What's the overall quality (warmth/weight/durability/etc) between John Cotton vs. Snuggledown considering both are in the same price range?
Hi, Lot lighter compared to wool quilts, King size in this quilt weights approx 1.5 KG, Whilst a 700GSM king size would be approx 6kg.290 threads count thick enough, Down doesn't escape.John Cotton brand got higher quality casing, I would strongly recommend it.
