        It hurts only when same people, who enjoy plastic 'interactive hobbies', cry out loud in support of ban on plastic bags. seems, it's not the plastic that bothers people it's the cost they've to bear for it personally. A full lot is happy to compromise on their own principles here.

          Mate I don't think your fight is with childrens toys. You wouldn't tell someone that's become vegetarian that they're a horrible person because they still eat dairy products. Baby steps.

            @King Steuart: I don't dislike plastic per se. It's an essential part of modern living. If vegetarians who still eat dairy products or eat in the same restaurant where meat is served but they also criticize meat eaters, I would call them hypocrite as well. Last reply

      See how peach is kind of faded out on the box? You still need the starter unfortunately. It does give you a bit extra to build with though

          They don't tend to drop below $60. Checking my email history, Toys r Us had a deal where you got it in a bundle with the 30385 expansion for $65 but otherwise the most cost effective way to buy into the ecosystem is to get it as part of a larger bundle, though that's probably not what you want to do. I actually grabbed the peach starter with this castle expansion last year and paid more than $70 + $65 :(

      I've bought a few but the Duplo style is so awkward and ugly and the electronic sounds feature is just a gimmick.

      They should have made proper Mario minifigures and matching levels/environments (including karts).

      I'm hoping they still will, someday.
