OP Notes

a. Make sure to collect the coupon by ticking the "Apply coupon" box before checkout. Alternatively, you can add the product to cart and tick the "Apply coupon" box there. If you DO NOT see the coupon box, the coupon allocation has been fully redeemed. There is no actual code to enter at checkout – you must collect the coupon before checkout.

b. Coupon is SINGLE use. One per account only

c. DO NOT UNSELECT PROMOTIONAL CREDIT AT CHECKOUT. Make sure you leave the "Use your $xx Promotional credit" box ticked at checkout. Amazon considers all Coupon discounts and Prime Exclusive deal discounts as "promotional credit". Therefore, unselecting promotional credit as part of your payment method will cause Amazon to remove any Coupon or Prime Exclusive discounts and thus charge you full price. If the you have Amazon-issued promotional credit in your account and the item you are buying is:

  • (1) Sold and shipped by Amazon, then Amazon will first subtract any relevant coupon or Prime Exclusive discounts, then charge the remaining balance with your Amazon promotional credit. You must pay with the promotional credit you have in your account, otherwise unselecting this will reverse any applied discounts as per above. Here's an example screenshot, where you see the coupon discount is applied (i.e. Your Coupon Saving), as well as the Subscribe & Save discount, and the remaining balance payment is taken out of your Amazon-issued promotional credit (i.e. Courtesy Credit) to complete the order (in this case the Order Total comes up as $0.00 - unless this deal post says free otherwise, it doesn't mean your order is free as you are still using promo credit, something treated as cash). If you do not have enough Amazon-issued promotional credit, then the Order Total will be the remaining balance that you must pay with a Gift Card or Debit/Credit Card.

  • (2) Sold by a Third Party Seller on Amazon, then Amazon will first subtract any relevant coupon or Prime Exclusive discounts (i.e. Promotion(s) Applied under Order Summary // or check below and see Your Coupon Saving), then you must pay the remaining balance with a Gift Card or Debit/Credit Card. Here's an example screenshot where despite me having Amazon-issued promotional credit, Amazon is unable to apply that to the order because Amazon is unable to apply Amazon-issued promotional credit to orders sold by a Third Party Seller. This means that even if you kept the "Use your $xx Promotional credit" box ticked at checkout, the sole purpose is to obtain the discount while your Amazon-issued promotional credit will remain the same as Amazon will not be using this credit to pay for the order.

Coupon expires soon unless exhausted or sold out earlier

If you want to take advantage of the two for $21.26 then you have to get one black and one white. Getting 2x of the same colour and the deal is ruined because you'll be paying about $25 each

  • +1

    Grabbed 2 cheers

  • +1

    Thanks ordered 2.

      • Yes, ordered each one. And paid $21.26 by GC.
        Checked several times. Thanks!

Heymix you say…may want to check their reputation, it's none too good around here.

The reviews are all suspiciously positive to the point of gushing…

    • Thanks for the headsup, cancelled my order.

    • +5

It such beautiful and life changing for you. I highly recommended.

      • +6

        life changing

I suppose if the product causes one's house to burn down then that would count as 'life changing'.

        • +1

If you have insurance, it’s basically a free new house. Depending on the contents cover, you may even be able to replace the charger…

        A+ , best fortune product

    • +6

Bought 2, checked reviews and cancelled order. Not worth destroying your $1000 phone…

      • Combined average of 4.7 across 28 reviews for black and white models, comprising one two star review with no commentary and 27 x five star reviews.

Which reviews in particular, concerned you?

    • +1

I had 2 of these . Both in the cupboard now, useless. Is a sob to get the charing point to line up

Spend a little more and get a MagSafe chaeger

Thanks for charing. Ordered a MagSafe chaeger instead. And I’ll keep on the lookout for a quality keyboard deal for you, as a special thanks

so you decided to give an upvote?

      • At first, it seemed like a great deal. After doing my research, I realised they make bad products but by then it was too late and I couldn't remove my upvote

    • +2

      The reviews are scary!

    • +1

Yet none of these people that left a bad review on OzBargain actually left a bad review on Amazon where they would have brought the Heymix product.
BTW I asked several people that left bad reviews on OzB if they indeed left a bad review on Amazon, not one did, I asked about 5 people myself.
I would therefore suspect that most of those OzB reviews are fake!!

      • Interesting find :)

      • I would therefore suspect that most of those OzB reviews are fake!!

        Why?

What motivates them to do so ?

        • -1

I think more of the question is why are the reviews so bad on OzB where anyone can say what they want, yet when you type in Heymix on Amazon they have glowing (not from fire) reviews, all above 4.4 stars for the first 10 items, you can check for yourself. The Amazon reviews have
"verified purchase" beside them so you know the person had to have bought the item. But you only have to check the OzB comments to see suspicious behaviour, for example @GunnerMcDagget buys a HeymIx wall charger that starts smoking then he buys a Heymix car charger that starts smoking. There are so many suspicious things to this, why did he buy the same brand after having such a bad experience? Why does he never state that he had a wall and car charger that both started smoking and failed? He also states that Heymix sent an email offering a refund if he removed his review, but Amazon would refund him if he lodged a refund claim anyhow, as he's an Amazon user he would know that. Even @ihfree asked him if he sent an email to Amazon about this, but he did not reply, and of course he didn't reply as this never happened in the first place.
There are plenty more of these suspicious "reviews" on OzBargain, so treat them with a grain of salt.
BTW I'm no fan of Heymix, I don't think I would ever buy one of their products, only because I already have brands that I know and trust, so there's no need to buy from Heymix, and the possibility that some of these reviews are legit and the price of their products reflects the quality.

          • @PukeyLuke: In my defence I didn't often look at the brand I was buying and accidentally bought Heymix twice. Technically 4 times, but the first 2 products didn't develop a fault. The second 2 did.

If you go through Amazon reviews of Heymix products you see a similar thing. Most people have no issue. Some have failures. Some catch fire. For example, the car charger I bought has 15% of the ratings as 1 star

            https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B09MQ7L7ZG/

I was going to suggest also using Amazon review checker, but it looks like all the good Amazon review checkers have been taken down for some reason. Cease and Desist maybe?

Side note, you never asked me if I left a bad review on Amazon. I did.

          • @PukeyLuke:

Even @ihfree asked him if he sent an email to Amazon about this, but he did not reply

No I didn't, lol. Don't twist words you weirdo.

Wow, shocking behaviour. You should forward the email onto Amazon.

        • -2

BTW here's a copy/paste of the comments I refer to in my previous comment,
as on previous occasions when I've shown dodgey comments the user will remove them!!
The first one he(she?) claims to have a Heymix wall charger

          GunnerMcDagget on 07/08/2022 - 15:52 +4
I have had a Heymix charger smoke after plugging it in. Directly into the wall socket and never had issues with any other chargers. It may only be a small number of units that have the issue, but a small chance of burning your house down is still a chance of burning your house down.
The following is his review stating he bought a car charger
          GunnerMcDagget on 30/05/2022 - 16:03 +14
Can't say for everyone else, but I bought a car charger from them and it melted. Managed to unplug it and throw it out before it caught fire, but I burned my hand in the process and the car stunk of melted plastic for the next few days.
Left a review about it on Amazon, then they emailed me offering a refund if I changed my review. I ignored the email.
@GunnerMcDagget has posted these reviews multiple times, so it's not as if he did it accidentally. and a very suspiciously and highly motivated user @ihfree keeps linking these suspicious comments but makes no effort to question anything that is anti Heymix

          • @PukeyLuke: Feel free to not believe me if you want. But why would I lie? It seems more probable that Heymix would get people to attack those who leave bad reviews.

And as I said, I left reviews on Amazon and even linked it above which you aptly ignored. Notice several people mentioned the product fault and all are verified purchases.

Feel free to believe whatever you want. But please don't go around telling people that I am dodgy just because I had a bad experience with a brand you either love, or work for.

            • -2

@GunnerMcDagget: I didn't ignore the link you posted, it's just that it was a general link to reviews, but not to the review that you left.
Are you OK with linking the 2 reviews for the 2 different purchases (or 4 as you state) you made, the car and the wall charger?
telling people that I am dodgy just because I had a bad experience with a brand you either love, or work for.
I didn't say you were dodgey I said your comment was.
As far as the "brand I love, or work for." I think you aptly ignored my previous comment stating
that "I'm no fan of Heymix, I don't think I would ever buy one of their products, and the possibility that some of these reviews are legit".
BTW it wasn't my intention to offend you, in fact I didn't think you would even read it, as it was a message I posted to someone else asking why I was suspicious of all these smoking Heymix comments.
Anyhow I understand why you wouldn't like what I stated and if you can prove me wrong then I will state it.

              • +1

@PukeyLuke: I only left one review. But it's there in the 1 star reviews.

                • -2

@GunnerMcDagget: I think that when someone makes important accusations against a company, such as a charger caught fire twice and then Heymix tried to silence you by only offering you a refund if you remove the review. Then you should be open to peer review, especially when you make the accusation over and over again. Do you agree with this???
Or should you be allowed to make these accusations and then no one is allowed to question the authenticity of it.
Especially when you raise the subject of your charger/s catching fire or smoking repeatedly,
here's the link to 5 of them, but I'm sure there's many more.
                  caught fire
                  smoking and melting
                  Heymix charger smoke
                  catching fire
started smoking and melted. Left a review about it on Amazon, then they emailed me offering a refund
if I changed my review. I ignored the email.

Yet for some reason you only left one review at Amazon which you're not prepared to share yet you appear to have no issue leaving multiple reviews on OzBargain making these very serious accusations. Leaving the reviews here does nothing to address the very serious claims you make, yet where it would have the most effect, on Amazon, well for some reason you only leave one review and don't raise the matter of Heymix trying to silence you with cash for removal of review, which you can amend your Amazon review to reflect this serious claim,
you could have put a photo of the email Heymix sent you!! It's actually not too late, you can post or amend Amazon reviews for more than 2 years after you purchase the item. I would highly recommend you do it, especially considering you're so motivated to do it here on OzBargain.

                  • +1

@PukeyLuke: I didn't take a photo of the chargers because I didn't expect to be grilled by someone who I'm almost certain works for Heymix considering how hard they are going to attempt to discredit my honest concerns.

Honestly, you should tag yourself as associated as it's pretty clearly obvious that you are.

But if you really want to see it, I can at least provide the email

          • @PukeyLuke: Stop stalking people, ya weirdo.

            • -1

@ihfree: Yet it's you stalking me and screaming insults!!

              • @PukeyLuke: Yeah. Mentioned me twice. Nice to know i'm living rent free in your head.

I don't really care about imaginary internet points - so mash that neg button.

                • @ihfree: Oh snap, it's the irony impaired stalker!!
The fact that you remembered my old "living rent free in your head" comment tells me a lot.
You made my night, cheers. You can power down now, I'm going to bed, keep scouring those Heymix deals.
That seems to be your one and only mission in life.

                  • @PukeyLuke: Lol. You're mentioning me yet somehow I'm stalking you by replying! I had no comments on this deal prior to you mentioning me.

To me, you're just another poster - i might reply but I'd never bother mentioning your username. I'm sorry to say it, but other than your walls of text, which I haven't read for months, you're extremely forgettable.

living rent free in your head

It's a pretty generic saying, but hey, if the shoe fits. It's nice that you feel my username is worth bringing up without me even commenting. To reiterate, i'd never tag you. #rentfree

Lol. Look at the walls of text your writing defending these products. I really hope they're paying you well

      • -2

There's plenty of correlation - linking two online accounts, especially one where a real name is likely to be used, is borderline doxxing.

        • -1

Hi @ihfree Used up all your negs for the next 24 hours!

          • @PukeyLuke: Weird accounts upvoting you - 2/3 comments and minimal activity. The Heymix shill mystery deepens.

            • @ihfree: Now you're getting paranoid and stalking, you stay up too late, and spend way too much time on OzBargain
I'll leave you to your obsessive-compulsive anti Heymix crusade, see you in the next one.

              • @PukeyLuke: Nice deflection after your two stalk/tagathons.

You've already shown that you're happy to lie to support your favourite brand.

    KABOOOOOOOMMMM!!!

  • good deal but what are people saying about it blowing up?

    • Nothing about this unit, which is very well reviewed.

However, the brand Heymix has a very ordinary track record for cheap, dangerous chargers.

      • SHEESH, how are they still doing business .. zero regulation

Received 2 and work very well.
Actually 15w is not very fast, normally I use 45w charger and cable for my phone.
But it's wireless, convenient and enough for my S21U & Bud Pro.

Good quality and touch on/off mood light it has.
However, slip proof feet are not working…😅😅😅

    Thanks @Guke
