[QLD] Heat Beads 4kg $6.25 @ Coles

180

Half price Heat Beads - been a while since I've seen these this cheap! Might only be QLD

Bunnings has also price matched the 7.5kg to roughly equivalent per kg price if that's easier to access for you

They're not my favourite charcoal but at this price, easy buy

    • i havent died yet. but I always find metal in the bottom of my smoker after using these heat beads. whenever there not this price I use weber briquettes there cheaper than full price heat beads.

        No need for casual racism.

  • These are slightly cheaper, not sure of quality though

  • Don't settle for anything else when it comes to your favourite food tasting great, go for binchotan or the very least, lump charcoal.

    • Can you get any of those for anywhere near this cheap? I’ve only looked at lump charcoal and haven’t found something that matches so far.

I use briquettes and a lump of wood for smoke in a Masterbuilt 560 and it’s great. If I want extra smoke I’ll use Kingsford infused briquettes (also put your lump of wood in a bucket of water submerged the day before)

    • Yeh nah I’m not paying more than 10x the price ($20/kg vs $1.56/kg) for a product that’s probably at best going to yield 3x better results.
