Case (16 Cans) Feral Hop Hog 375ml + 4-Pack of Jack Daniel's Apple & Soda - $51.19 Delivered @ Boozebud

40

Thought I'd share a simple beer deal involving no cashbacks etc.

Boozebud has a decent price on Feral Hop Hog Pale Ale (5.8% ABV), decent beer with good reviews (e.g. https://untappd.com/b/feral-brewing-company-hop-hog/12878 )

Typical price is around ~$70 mark.

Once added to cart the Jack Daniels Apple and Soda 4 pack appears. These usually sell for ~$19. Haven't tried it before but probably it's a deal even without it.

Someone's going to be feral then…

Thanks OP, I got one in time

  • Wow Hop Hog, retro! I assume Feral are still owned by Coca Cola Amatil? I haven't bought them since that happened.

  • Just saw another one available

  • How did you get free delivery?

It just applied automatically. I just checked again and it seems like adding anything in the Easter Sale gets free delivery? I added a bottle of tonic water and the cart is showing free delivery.

Haven't shopped at Boozebud for a while but just had a flick through their beer selections. Wow! I remember a few years back they carried some semi-interesting stuff, looks like they just stock core range beers from a small group of mostly average breweries now. Dan's or even BWS has a better range these days, you have to wonder if Boozebud's days are numbered?

    • They were bought out and think that's when they changed

      • They were bought out by AB Inbev few years back and subsequently changed hands to Asahi when they offloaded CUB. Then a couple of years ago sold back to the original owners / founders. At least when they were owned by big beer they were stocking some pretty decent beers.

    • Yeah agreed. It's really narrowed down. Still some good stuff there but it's just looking at the IPA section, there are only about 20 or 30 beers now, and some of those are out of stock too. And with the odd exception it's generally not that competitive price wise to the other stores you mentioned, when they have a cashback deal.
