      It really is though. So simple but fun with the kids due to not requiring much skill and gets 100x the play of any other game I have. Would love to hear if there’s anything else like it.

          7.5yrs are only eligible to play…

          In all seriousness, all my kids play, and my youngest is 6 and does really well!
          (she gets the disguise perk and just stays hidden the entire round, then does a sneak attack!)
          Any younger and they may not understand the inner-workings of the powerups, and how to throw and recall your boomerang.

          It’s completely inoffensive. So suitable in that sense for any age.

          You can also play in teams and can dial up or down the computer skill levels so if you’ve a super young one there’s flexibility for them to have some fun.

          It’s great.

    It is a great game and girlfriend and I love it! Bit of a shame that developers seem stop supporting the game tho. No new maps, weapons nor characters. Some skills needed to be nerfed :(

    Got this last time it was on sale, never regretted it. A consistent family favourite, some skill and a lot of luck involved.

    A PERFECT multiplayer game alongside, Mario Party, Overcooked, Speedrunners, and Runbow. (although overcooked is more co-op)

    If playing with kids, for the love of God, turn off multi-boomerangs, and explosive boomerangs. When someone gets those 2, it gets nasty!!

    I had problems buying the DLC pack with extra costumes, anyone else having issues getting it?

    My son has too many games on his switch but this $3 game is probably his favourite.

    Anyone got any recommendations for similar types of games? I've seen the Sausage game but it's nowhere near as good.

        Some 4 year Olds might be fine honestly.

        The best thing is that while the gameplay rewards skill, a kid can still beat an adult sometimes too.

      Worms is turn based. This is very much not.
      Worms has a myriad of weapons. This has one.

      It has the same fun playful mood as worms, but my kids hated worms after playing this, worms was "too slow and boring" and "difficult to figure out the controls", in comparison.

    For those asking about age, my 4 (just 4 at the time) year old played the shit out of it when we first got it.

    A few tears when she went too many rounds without a win, she is a total button masher, but she LOVES it. Especially the new hats you get every couple of rounds.

    Favourite game in our house.

    Pro tip - if you want to make your kids cry play golden boomerang, don’t pick up the boomerang, just camp it and snipe. So many lols.
