I'm really liking the LG Gram lineups past few years.

We have a few at work and they've been great.

I've got the oldest 2021 17" but I can't fault it, only issue i've had is the LG popup where it was all in Asian characters but that was me plugging it into an 18w charger instead of my 65w charged. I thought I was getting hacked at first lol.

When you first pick it up you think it's so fragile but it's surprised me. to/from work a few days a week, domestic travel, use around a container yard monthly (dusty/dirty environment).

Even just being able to press the power button which is a finger print reader just nails those features you don't often think about.

Granted it won't play games but that's not what I got it for. It does play BF2 and AoE well though lol

    • Agree with all of the above.

Love my 2021 16" i7 that use for work & home.

Great battery life & for weight won't get a bigger screen or fuller size extended keyboard. Make it great for business trips interstate.

Initially was worried by the flex of the screen but has been rock solid on many trips away.

Only thing that I could fault is screen is a bit too reflective in high light conditions. Got me wondering if this was improved on 2022 version. Anyone have experience with the 2022 screen?

      • I think the 2022 version has a matte finish so should not be as reflective. I got the 2021 version due to it having a longer life battery, but the 2022 battery life is still pretty good though. With the 2023 line up some of the models will have dedicated GPU. With the dGPU its just another 100g more. Pretty impressive.

    • Agreed - I have the 11th gen 16” and it’s surprisingly robust. There’s a bit of flex but it wouldn’t hold up as well if it was more rigid.

  • How does this compare to the Acer Swift Series? I had/have a Acer Swift 5 and its been my favorite laptop

  • sorry wrong thread
