The first time I used these, I thought it was like magic.

We just put chicken bones in it, come back a while later and it was full of crabs?

That was crazy to me as a kid.

You need to buy 4 of them, for $40 total. It's a very confusing title/item lol.

      • I see … I will never get it without you thanks

      • +2

Yes, the "4 for $40" straight under the price on the site made no sense ;-)

        • "Jarvis Walker 4 Entry Round Crab Pot (800mm) $40 @ Anaconda"

Was the title, with the line "Crab Pot 4 for $40" which read, in context with the title, that it was "crab pot '4 entry round' for $40".

So yes. It was unclear "on first impression", which is backed up by the fact the title has been amended.

          Blimey.

  • Where's the best place for crabbing without a boat in NSW?
WA has quite a few accessible places but haven't done it in NSW

    • Can't use these in WA.

      • *not meant to

I always see people using these.

      • I was using witches hat and that was 20 years ago! Back then it won't even take 30min to get the max allowable catch with 2 nets

  • Where is the best spot/s to use this in VIC?

I got crabs in Frankston, once.

      • I've heard you can catch em on the street in St Kilda too. Not for free though.

        • I can share. How much $$?

    • Not legal in Victoria.

Why would anyone pay for a crab net? You can always find heaps abandoned in the local estuary, usually full of crabs!
