These still have the heat issue that they never got around to fixing in like 7 years?

Found the heat was limiting performance and sometimes causing disconnects (like a safety switch to prevent overheating?)

      Yep.

And when they use weasel words to trick people into thinking they're fast, they can PO.

    • Yes.. got one of these and yes it's heats .. I mean it really hot 🔥🔥

Get a new car every few months

Car probably isn't reading/writing constantly, and is probably only usb 2.0 speed.

Had one of these, lets just say, the write speeds on it, isn't that great.. Starts of at around 35-40MB/s for the first few hundred MBs, then it slows down to 12-15MB/s for the rest.

Its compact and all, but the write speeds on this could be better.

For those who have the $10 perks from extra sim cards bought from boost cashrewards, the 64GB version of this is $11 at PCByte. Price match and get it for a dollar. Fair value I dare say.

  • These small ones are so bad. Got conned by one. Little metal one and that heats up like a mfer. Woke up one night because I honestly had a thought this is going to burn my house down.

  • I had the 32G version. Installed linux on it and it works quite well.
It's very hot, so be careful when touch.
