Ok I gave in, getting mine tomorrow. I feel ashamed for paying $5.95 instead of getting it delivered on Tue for free like a normal person :/

  • Excellent deal for someone who is in the market

  • I really want to press that buy now button

        • +1

          yeah some can't afford

    • +2

The idea that a uber premium tablet could have only one year of warranty in australia is ridiculous (acl)

  • Any gift cards deal at the moment?

Last gens M1 is still an absolute beast.

    • i tell myself this all the time, but then i see m2 with 30% increase to GPU performance and i'm like…shifty side eye meme

      • What are you gonna use that 30% more GPU performance on an iPad for? lol

  • Great deal OP 👍👍

  • OOS? Oh dependent on suburb… Apparently not :)

  • Oos

  • OOS now, I just signed up a 2022 version 12.9 iPad 512g, but thought to buy a 16g version

  • OOS everywhere in NSW.

  • Yeah I dunno OOS, it lets me go all the way through to payment in Brisbane. Not going to try to pay for it though.

  • This was 100 more until recently, they must have dropped the price even further

    • I think that was the wifi only version

  • +2

Out of interest, if you need specs like that, wouldn't a MacBook be better? I'm rocking an old iPad air and cant see how I could use all that processing power??

    • +1

True but if you want a tablet then this is as good as it gets

    • Well, on in iPad you don’t need all that power, true unless doing video and photo editing or something else power hungry, but even then the IPad Air is no slouch. But it does mean you will never worry about power.

Compared with an air, it also has a 120hz pro 12.9 inch hires screen and four speakers.

At this price the IPP is a no brainer, at RRP one might look closely at an Air.

  • $3399 current model !! better than half price

    • Personally would prefer two of these!

      • +3

        Would prefer a 4090. 😉

      • Dual screen

  • OOS?

    • Seems so, sorry folks.

  • Dang out of stock Brisbane.

  • Dammit, good post OP!

Got this from last OW/Amazon deal and sorely disappointed with the battery life. I use it solely for uni notetaking and worksheets, and it dies after 4-ish hours. Maybe the Apple Pencil drains the battery much faster, but the battery life overall is definitely much worse than my MBA.

    • +2

Disable auto-brightness, turn down the brightness, and don't attach the pencil to the side unless you need to charge it. You can also disable background app refresh for apps that don't use it. I find that in lecture theatres, the lights shine directly into the ambient light sensor, which causes the screen to crank to max brightness.

    • Warranty it imo

  • Missed out darn 🤲🏼🤲🏼

  • Bargain

If our interest rate goes up tomorrow due to overspend, I blame Ozbargain.

    • We'll eventually all run out of money then they will be forced to lower interest rates again

  • Has anyone received confirmation of delivery or been able to collect their order? Have a feeling they don’t have stock and was listed in error.

Just checked my order status and it is marked as shipped.
“Your order is on its way to the store”.

    • +1

I think it should be ok. I checked nrby.in and there were probably 20+ available across the different states at time of posting.

    • +1

Still "prepairing your order" status on mine

      • Thanks!!
Have received my order so hopefully yours isn’t too far away.

      • Same here! - Still "prepairing your order" status on mine too.

    • Just checked my order looks like it has shipped Est: Tueday, April 4, 2023…so hopefully will get a message that it is ready for collection sometime tomorrow 🤞

    Awesome thanks!
Ordered before it was posted but was waiting till getting some kind of confirmation before letting the community know.
    Cheers!

0 posts since 2018 is not the best track record.

Sometimes you just have to get over that anxiety and give back to the community that has provided you with so many deals.

(I didn't downvote you as I can understand some people are more anxious than others)

Haha yeah I don’t have any issue with the downvotes. Regardless you get slammed even when you try to help

If anyone has more money to squander the logitech keyboard is on sale at Amazon. Officeworks were able to price match over the phone for me.

    https://www.amazon.com.au/Logitech-Combo-Touch-Oxford-12-9-i…

    • With a bit of effort you can get jb to match. Using any outstanding gift cards from previous sales and leverage the jb perks for an extra $10 off

      • Bit of a stretch and contingent on a lot of things. I haven't had a $10 perks voucher for a while and only have in-store gift cards… so time and petrol costs would really undo any potential savings, assuming they're even willing to match. May work for someone else though.

    • TEMPTING

But I have a bunch of Bluetooth keyboards I should use tbh

  • Just picked up the 11” 16GB/2TB Wi-Fi + Cellular version for $1902.95 inc delivery.

iPad Pro 12.9" WiFi 8GB/512GB Silver is available for $1497 at OW. Not a bad deal.
It shows unavailable, but when you choose the color and storage you can buy this one.

  • These have started to pop up on eBay for $2100+ making the seller around $200-$300 after fees.
