            This watch is always around the US$5 mark so it's clearly not the "sale" part that's the bargain.

            If you guys are so blown away by this $5 childrens toy you can save yourself 6 weeks and buy yourself this junk from a capsule machine at your local IGA like I did when I was 8 years old.

      Dude I completely see where you are coming from. I wouldn't buy this watch personally but that's not to say it won't benefit others. Also consider the current climate. What you may deem as a cheap toy. Someone may find it very valuable as they don't have the finances. It's always going to help someone out there. Getting a battery swap costs more than this watch. Maybe see that as the bargain. If you need to compare to something.
      I've known watch nerd for a few years . His intent has always been good value for money with watches and I trust him on that.
