its screen res is only 800x480. no good IMO.

It's Dell (reputable, reliable warranty) and 3G and not many cheap tabs have integral 3G. Worth a thought….
3G is good, but these days someone who is buying these tablets I dont think would be carrying a Nokia 5110… most of the smartphones these days does tethering - one plan to cater both devices :-)
this was a shit tablet when it came out and still is a shit tablet. Not worth it IMO.
Get the ainol tablet from few deals back and it will be much better than this
I dont know about this one, but based on OZB members recommendation I bought the ainol Elf 2… no regrets and I would recommend it to anyone who's looking for tablet that is not too expensive but to be packed with decent features.
I have this. PLEASE dont buy this. In addition to being non-upgradable to ICS or JB and being EXTREMELY slow, once the battery goes below 5% ONLY A DELL CHARGER will work. The chrging/usb cable is also very rare (even on ebay.

this is the one with ips screen, there is a slightly cheaper one without the ips
It has 3G so the price is at least quite decent.
agreed, the 3G makes all the difference compare to other generic tablets even though the screen 800x480 is very crapped (I know what it looks like).

Warning I would not get this tablet. I have the Dell Venue phone (not dell venue pro) which is an android phone, full of bugs and hardware error. Worst of all Dell has abandoned the phone and not a single update was released…
When it comes to phone and tabs I'd steer clear of Dell.
This tab is unsupported and will not receive any updates… unless you get 3rd party roms that maybe out there. just get yaself a nexus 7 because it is all you need
