Amazon.com.au Consistent Server Issues

Is anyone else getting:

" We're sorry An error occurred when we tried to process your request.
We're working on the problem and expect to resolve it shortly. Please note that if you were trying to place an order, it will not have been processed at this time. Please try again later.

We apologise for the inconvenience."

And

"Server Busy. Our servers are getting hit pretty hard right now. To continue shopping, enter the characters as they are shown in the image below."

I've been seeing deals still being posted, but I keep receiving both errors consistently….

  • Strange. But even the big guys can't have 100% uptime. Makes me feel better about my own websites not being accessible 100% of the time, if Amazon can't even do it considering they are the web server experts and downtime on Amazon must cost them a fortune in missed sales.

They are checking you are a person. Your interactions with amazon are not what they expect from a normal customer.

  • i run my internet connection as a vpn node and use various bandwidth sharing apps
i used to get this often but not in a while
i presume price comparison services like camelcamelcamel and staticice use my services to bypass this very problem of excessively high amount of requests

are you getting this error on an internet connection shared by many people like a educational facility, corporate network? any bandwidth sharing apps OR an infected device on your network might be sharing your internet connection without your knowledge

browse with mobile data and it should work

    • No if it was my other laptop with the VPN, I would of assumed that, but this is my normal home connection only used by me.

  • +2

    I have never seen this.
It’s a sign to touch grass.

    • I did, but I have allergies :P
