        I'm not saying that they're healthy or that you should eat them but come on mate that's just bullshit.

        A 375mL can of coke contains 40g of sugar. That's more than the entire weight of one of these bars (they're 37g each). The bars contain 10-14g of sugar depending on the flavour.

        There's no need to make shit up.

          Maybe they didn't word it well.

          Coke is just over 10% sugar, k-time is just under 30% sugar. So the point is still relevant that these are high in sugar, and if your looking at percentage they are higher.

            @Fishballs: That's true, though I don't know that it's particularly meaningful.

            Coke is basically just water and sugar. It doesn't provide any other nutrition or help you feel full. That's part of why it's such a problem, since you can knock a couple of them back and not feel like you've eaten anything. The amount of sugar in coke isn't very high in relation to a lot of other things. There's fruits with proportionally more sugar. Coke is gonna bring on the diabetes a lot faster than an apple, though.

            If you have one of these bars you're at least getting a little bit of complex carbs, protein, and fat so that it'll help you feel full. There's room for things like this in a healthy diet whereas there's basically no place for coke. Yeah they're basically confectionery but I still think the comparison risks missing the mark a bit.

            1L of water with 100grams of sugar is not more healthy than a 500ml of water woth 100grams of sugar.
