Interesting offer, but I think with Cashback its $1015 because 10% "Cashback (Capped at $100 Per Member)"
Looks to be no HDMI 2.1 in case that matters to anyone

    • Saved me the trouble of looking at tech specs! Would have been awesome to have for the PS5

Why is this not Good for PS5 ? I'm planning to get one and attach to PS5

        • It's to do with frame rates.

Variable Refresh Rate was one of the major new features for the PS5. To use it you need a TV that is HDMI 2.1 compatible. There are a lot of articles on what VVR is and the difference it makes.

This will still work with a PS5, but just won't be running in top gear. For casual gamers it won't be a major issue.

        • The PS5 can push out 4k 60fps on regular hdmi, but it can output 4k 120fps when the TV has HDMI 2.1. If you spent hard earned money on a PS5 you might as well wait for a good TV sale and upgrade to HDMI 2.1 to enjoy it fully :)

      • If you see a price like this for 75 its never going to be HDMI 2.1.. They are just getting rid of lower spec stock. You'd be looking at around $2K for 75 inch HDMI 2.1 branded TV.

        • If you see a price like this for 75 its never going to be HDMI 2.1

My Samsung The Frame 2021 75" cost me around $1200 from last year clearance, just need to wait for their final clearance.

          • @superforever: I'm talking about now, that was a rare sale price, I don;t think you will find anything like that now

  • good price

The main negative with this model is that the sound isn’t great. So consider using a soundbar with it.

    • +9

Eh, you can buy some of the highest spec TVs and they'll still have trash sound. Hard to fit anything decent in a 1cm wide base

    • +1

The in-built sound is useful as an audio reminder in case something goes wrong with AV receiver or soundbar not working.

    • That's why I prefer Sony. They care about the sound and even make the screen itself into a speaker on some models

    • Some TV's don't have a speaker at all anymore, which allows them to make a thinner TV. I think most buying a 75" TV would have a soundbar :)

    Detailed review here.
TLDR: Good value but not the best picture quality due to being edge lit. Colour and contrast not quite up with the best, and glossy screen means lot's of reflections in bright rooms. Motion handling surprisingly good. Sound is reasonably clear but struggles to reproduce any bass…..soundbar recommended. Sluggish inteface, so Chromecast or Firestick also recommended.

    • I watch one of these TV's a bit, because a mate has it in his mancave. It's really not bad for watching sport on ie. Footy. Picture is fine but not up there with the best new Neo-QLEDs out there but it's fine for this purpose or a big rumpus room etc.

Good deal, I'll never buy another Samsung tv again however after they put ads in the smart UI.

    • Don't use the TV UI, the UI on my TV is my Xbox, some might use a Fetch box, Apple TV, or Playstation, as an example :)

The inbuilt UI is only supported for a period of time, so if you use an external box that's always upgradeable and usually much more fluid.

    • LG as well (ads)

    • Unable to understand what you mean. Can you please share a Youtube video link of these ads in UI? I have a 75" Samsung tv that is now 2 years old. Don't see any ads. Maybe it's coming only with newer TVs only.

As it is there are enough ads on the TV channels. On top of that if the device pushes ads then it's a big No for me.

Otherwise pretty keen on pulling the trigger on this one.

    • If price match with Jbhifi, would it still be eligble with cashrewards?
Also believe storecash only for gold extra member?

      • No, because jbhifi isn't on cashrewards

        • I mean i still buy the good guy and price match with jbhjfi, would it be still eligble for cash back?

          • @Mandalorians: You need to buy the product clicking through cashrewards, so unless the good guys list the price the same as jbhifi online then probably no.
Under special conditions it states Cashback may be ineligible if using codes not listed on Cashrewards.

  • Pass….waiting for a deal on 85' models

  • I ended up getting JB to match $999 for the 75" over chat at:
