Where or When Are The Next Razer Laptop Sales

Hey mates, looking to see if anyone has an idea on when the next batch of Razer Laptops will be on sale?

I particularly regret missing out on this one: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/690794

I'll be mostly using it for a mix of gaming and work.
I'm also looking for good alternatives, I'm keen to get a Razer just because of its form factor.

I will just go to Amazon. See one you like then check camel price. See how previous price can come down to and when. If it's recent, you can expect they will do the same in near future then you can set price watch. Combo with Cashback from CR/Shopback plus discounted gift card.

  • Black Friday + Amazon + Amazon gift cards = Winning.

    Got a 6k laptop for 3k.

    • hey curious on what exactly you bought? can you provide more details?

        I got Razer Blade 17 (D8NT/17.3" 360Hz FHD Matte, 1920 x 1080/12th Gen i7-12800H/ RTX 3070 Ti 8GB VRAM/ 16GB DDR5 RAM/ 1TB PCIe Gen4 SSD + Open M.2 Slot/ Thunderbolt 4/ 2.75KG/ Win 11 Home) AUS/NZ Packaging.

It's only 4.5k now .. but yeah… I purchased a bunch of 15% off Amazon gift cards and at black Friday the price was down to 3.4k. So was able to get it for 3k. Happy with it ๐Ÿ‘

My advice, keep an eye out for the Amazon gift cards all year. Stack em. And then wait till black Friday. The 4000 series should go on special this year

  • Didn't the office staff at Linus Tech Tips stop using Razer laptops because they broke down all the time?

    • No, that was just Linus dropping them constantly :P
The Razer Blade laptops are the highest-quality in the Windows side. But they're expensive to buy. And they have after-sales support, and it's not even bad support, even that's expensive.

They've basically emulated the MacBook Pro…. but they piggyback off the parts and innovations from other companies, whereas Apple at least can credit themselves for their successes/failures.

PS: MacBooks are the highest selling laptops out there. But that's just a single lineup, and only accounts for around 20% of the marketshare. Windows takes the other 60% just split across a dozen other laptop lineups. The last 20% is split across hundreds of "misc" lineups, with an error margin of +/- 1% to account for Linux laptops.

Build quality is excellent but I do believe reliability isnโ€™t great.

        • I think he's talking about customer support for Razer? I did read some Reddit posts about battery bloating

        What?
        They're notorious for being unreliable.

  • Ive seen plenty on marketplace with dead motherboards

    • Is this in VIC? I've been saving posts but hesitate to inquire
