Need a free shipping code :(

  • +1

This is from the quarterly rewards. I have the same code, but I assume it is connected to our membership numbers to be able to redeem it.

You've spent over $100 with us this quarter, so we bet it's looking pretty great at your place! We're rewarding you with a voucher worth $10, and thanks for being a member of our IKEA Family. Enjoy!

This is the last $10 Quarterly Reward voucher you will receive; the Quarterly Reward benefit has ended. But don't worry we're hard at work creating a new and improved reward system for IKEA Family members to enjoy. And we can't wait to share more with you when it's ready.

    • +1

Need a membership to redeem it, but you can use it as much as you want assuming it's like the last one. Multiple times in a day even.

  • I thought they (IKEA) decided to discontinue the $10 quarterly reward at some point? I even received an email from them saying this. And now they are inviting me back to IKEA to shop with this 10 dollar reward.

    • +2

      They did.

Q1 2023 (i.e. January 2023 - March 2023) was the very quarter where you could earn a $10 quarterly reward, so this deal is IKEA delivering that reward.

Ikea was such a pain for me. I paid for my item with two codes, then i had to go exchange the item the next day. Staff said i cant stack and removed my code. So my exchange ended up costing me extra $15.

    • Why not return the whole order, and re-place one?

      • Cant return mattress, only exchange

  • +2

    stackable

    How? Only one code allowed

    • +1

      same question !
You can only use one coupon/voucher code per order.

      • +1

I don't think you can with two "Qxxxx" code

  • +4

I tried stacking this with the $15 off $50 deal and they wouldn't allow it. I suspect if they're busy and don't notice they might let you do it but they have to manually approve these codes when you scan them.

  • +3

    Really "stackable"?

                   "Have a discount code?

"You can only use one coupon/voucher code per order. Enter the code without any space between letters. Do you have a gift card? You can exchange these later in the process."

Please explain how you define "Potentially stackable"?

It’s quite simple. First, you have to get off your arse and go to IKEA. Gather your mostly unnecessary crap. You’re now about to check out, and you could cut the air with a knife. The heart is racing with the anticipation of a comment bragging about your success on OzBargain, and the inevitable upvoting frenzy. Here we go…

Oops — I said simple. Sorry ‘bout that — got carried away. Just scream like a petulant toddler until they stick the second (and third) coupon (dummy) into your order (mouth). Practice your screaming beforehand so you’ll have the necessary endurance for a memorable win. If they threaten to call the cops, they’re always bluffing

It could cost more for time and effort to drive to and look for a bunch of the cheap items you find on the website. In my last 2 experiences at Bunning, to use the $10 instore GC, spent 20 mins each at 2 different stores and unable to find the $3 head light I wanted initially. The page said yes in stock. The stuff said yes on the shelve. But where was it? I just had to give up. Anyway, grabed 2x double outlet pack + 3x key cut + a coffee for free. Can't complain but still have worse experience with the exploring. Click and Collect seems better.

I would choose delivery if 10+ items and under $5 delivery. My last delivery from IKEA took only a few days. Got one missing item, chatted with them, resent the missing. So happy with it.

This would be insanely difficult to stack in person. They require manual acceptance by the staff, and online only accepts a single coupon.

    • Can I use the code twice on one visit?

      • +1

        One visit, two laps

        • what is the chance of getting into the same staff at check out

          • @Bii: Change the pitch of your scream, and you might just get lucky (twice)

    • +3

Last time i visited, the staff member asked me to show her the email. Since i only had the screenshot of the email from here, i showed her that and she asked me if i got it from Aussie bargain.

I'm bad at lying so no discount for me.

      • 🤣

Staff has been informed of ozbargain lol. said mgmt is now very strict on checking that you got the email instead of implementing proper controls lol

It’s only fair that we make life a bit harder for the honest people. If there are any honest people left, I mean. I really hate honest people. Like — what is their deal?! Are they just too good to lower themselves to my level? Ugh I just hate those self-righteous arseholes so much…

FYI, IKEA wardrobes are overpriced crap.

    • +3

Pretty much all crap is overpriced these days. If you want a quality fertiliser, hold your nose, and expect to pay a premium price

    • +1

fwiw my ikea wardrobe is really good. it got a bit expensive with delivery and installation but im happy with it

  • +2

IKEA is no longer cheap. For cheapies, go Kmart or online

  • They lost me when they had a recent discount - 10% (I think) and found out that electrical was part of the excluded items. The T&C weren’t upfront
So got to the checkout and had a surprise.

  • +1

Though, why use this if you can use the $15 spend $50?

  • Just so everyone knows, I did end up trying to scan both the $15 OFF and this $10 OFF, where an employee allowed me to test both together. It does NOT work. These don't stack, the higher coupon overrides the other. This is kinda pointless if you can just use the $15 OFF.

  • IKEA Springvale asked me to show the email I got the QR code from. Once they saw it's was a screenshot they didn't let me use it.

  • IKEA springvale was the worst for this code. They said this code is fraudulent.
They said we cant stop people from using it online but we dont allow to use it online.

Just posted this in the $15 deal but it's relevant to the $10 deal too.

An IKEA family email confirms the Quarterly Reward is ending, being replaced by a new Rewards Keys / points program on 1 June 2023.

Essentially: Spend $5 to get 1 Reward Key. 15 Reward Keys equals $1 IKEA credit.

It's pretty crap: You'll have to spend $75 to get $1 or $750 to get $10.

If you can access the IKEA gift cards 5% off and redeem the rewards the total saving is 6.33%.

Introducing reward keys from IKEA Family

    Hej

From 1 June, your IKEA Family Terms and Conditions will be updated. This is because we're launching a new benefit: reward keys from IKEA Family. You can access the updated IKEA Family Terms and Conditions here.

You will see that the IKEA Family Terms and Conditions have been updated to:
    *Include details of how you can earn reward keys;
    *Explain how you can use the reward keys to claim rewards in-store and online;
*Remove the terms relating to the Quarterly Rewards, as these rewards have been replaced by the new reward keys from IKEA Family; and
*Simplify the terms of our IKEA Family program.

You can collect reward keys by creating wish lists, logging in to our website, registering and attending free IKEA Family events, booking and attending an in-store or virtual planning appointment or by shopping in-store and online.

As your reward key collection grows, you’ll unlock all kinds of helpful rewards including; delivery vouchers, product vouchers or food deals.

The existing Terms and Conditions will continue to apply until the new terms take effect on 1 June 2023.

We can't wait for you to start enjoying reward keys from IKEA Family, alongside your existing instant benefits and rewards.
