Am I the only one who thinks that $30 for a brekky is far too expensive?

Buffet, not too bad. Could be good for anyone who is staying at a hotel near the place. You could overload yourself so you don't need lunch. :P

        Buffet, not too bad

$30 for some bacon & eggs, is 'too bad'…

        • You're forgetting (and there's lots more): smoked salmon, a variety of cheeses (smoked/brie), 6 different juices, 2 different smoothies, hash browns, all fruits that are in season, yogurts, FRESH honeycomb… And well unlimited amounts of bacon and eggs too! :P Also, coffees/hot chocolates are on the house. So if you're there for 4 hours, have a coffee an hour… It turns out to be an excellent deal for city prices!

i've learnt from buffets! check the waist line. seriously if people think with their heads not with their guts, a $1-$15 breaky will do just fine. well i did go to melba a few times in my younger years i must admit. perhaps on special occasions would be good.. err nah! gone are those days where you stress out where to take ur gf for ur 5 year anniversary (melba breaky?).. she's now my wife.. its now eggs and toast, if im lucky some bacon!!

  • How much is it usually? Is this actually a bargain??

    • Well the amount of people requesting the voucher is going up fast so some people must be thinking it's a bargain.

  • What's the normal price?

    :( sad

    • They say that, but if you ring ahead (say 3 days before), they're usually fine with booking the weekend too. :)
