    I think the ring that some of you are complaining of may be normal. Compared this to one bought from a king of knives store and they were the same.

      Perhaps it's normal in the sense that it's common, but the fact remains that the first LL I ever owned, a P7, had an almost flawless beam. I've never forgotten it, and it's the benchmark against which I measure the beam quality of all flood-to-throw lights now. The second P7 I owned was just like this T7. Something changed with respect to QC, and LL probably just decided that it was good enough.

    Received mine yesterday too. But the box was squashed and partially ripped at the hinge so cant really gift mine

    Received torch today & tested it on some tall trees nextdoor, seems to work pretty well :) Kinda wish I didn't live near the city, too bright at night so it doesn't light up as much as it should

    Regretting that I didn't buy 2, would make an excellent father's day gift (I want to keep mine!)
