Smart Deadbolt Options for Pivot Door 60-65mm Thick

Hi all,

Our pivot door 60-65mm thickness is having lesser options for a smart deadbolt, which is what the door supplier is saying.

Anyone with experience getting a deadbolt for this size door?

I was set on Eufy Smart Video Lock but not sure anymoe.

Cheers

  • That's a thick front door, I assume it's solid? What lock options did the door supplier say will work with 65mm? I'm sure they have clients who have found a lock suitable for the same door

    • They suggested a Kaadas K9 with some sort of extension to go with it. But didnt like the look as we have a separate door handle and just want a slim deadbolt

  • Yale unity is good for up to 60mm

    • looking for a deadbolt. without the handle

  • This one claims Door Thickness 30mm~65mm

    • Thanks. havent heard much reviews on this. Anyone out there?

  • Where did you get the 60mm door?? I’ve been looking for a solid one (I actually want one that has a steel interior but wooden exterior)

    • +1

without jambs made of steel its useless, wood jambs will splinter and cave in under attack

    • We have a door which is 1.5m wide, in most cases this will be around the 60mm mark.
Just curious why you want steel interior?

  • Rebate 10mm section the size of the smart lock housing out of the inward facing side of the door. Or buy a retrofit kit, or use a key.

  • Could always get a normal deadbolt that can handle your pivot door. Then you can latch this bad boy onto the deadbolt.

If you can't find a suitable smart deadbolt, you could always go Haven Lock

    • Thanks @humilem servum tuum switchbot seems a good retrofit option though mostly US sites selling these?

havenlock is totally new to me.

      Thanks for sharing

    • I think switchbot lock might not be popular option, do we normally have locks shown in the videos. Sorry Im buying this for a new build. Not 100%certain.
