    Given the hype and expectations, this game has to be the biggest let down of the year.

      Yep it's really dead now. I made $800 on the real money auction house in the first couple of weeks after it opened but the prices have gone down so much lately its not even worth using any more. Items that were selling for $50 are now worth only $3 to $4 each.

    Not only is it dead, it died before PVP was finished. At this rate, it'll probably be included in an expansion next year, lol.

    My friends list (+20 people) has no one online these days.

    It was hard to get stock at launch. It was only a good deal then if you could get it (without waiting weeks for it to be backordered).

      That's hilarious considering I pre-ordered 2 weeks before launch and got it ON launch day from JB.
      There were numerous deals posted here for the Collector's Edition at normal retail price even days before launch (the allegedly "limited" Collector's Edition; copies of which never seemed to run out even 2 weeks after launch).

      BigW and DSE had heaps of stock on launch day. The scarcity of copies and hype surrounding D3 was blown out of proportion.

        Maybe for you. Every DSE and BigW I went to had no stock. W's price was a one week promotion. I went there every day and they never restocked. They only had a few copies on day 1 and was sold out the morning I went there. DSE was issuing rain checks for a deposit, though its ETA was weeks.

        Whether you want to believe it or not, the game sold out at launch and was out of stock. You can google that for yourself.

        If you preordered it weeks in advance, then yes you should expect to get it. But that isn't reason to neg this deal. Not everyone preordered the game… For those who couldn't get it at launch for this price, it's still a better deal than paying $80 or $90 today.

        Would I prefer to have bought it for this price ($59) at launch? Yes. But I don't have a time machine, so this point is irrelevant. This is a good price if you're buying it today. Less so if it was launch week. But it's not launch week anymore.

        If that's the case, I would have got it at launch. The fact is I couldn't find it anywhere. Your experience isn't going to be the same as everyone else's.

  I paid this price at launch and just did the digital download. Don't really see this as a bargain.
