But is it RGB?
Not guaranteed hynix die btw. The cl timing is good but the others look a bit sus.
Yeah but 40 40 96 prolly is Hynix.
Its hunix die. Samsung die is TRCD under 38, ive also checked this listing and other listings at decent frequency. Its all hynix M and A die.
The new manufactured chips are A die, older are M die.
I guess I was mistaken. I have this vague memory of buildzoid mentioning that if you see 40s in the timings, it might be samsung or micron.
He said if you see 36 it may be Samsung.
Micron does not clock this high so not a chance in this one.
Can we use it to AM5? What does than mean by "designed for Intel"?
Should be able to use it for AM5. I think if the clock speed is greater than 6000 is when AMD processors start to become unstable.
Will there be much performance difference between this and https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B0BFCV7JZ8 ?
Will it work with cl32 6000 memory? I have purchase 2x16 6000 cl32 early this year and want to upgrade with this kit.
its not about comparing timings, its about having the same memory ic's on both kits.
The memeory kit i used is G.Skill RipJaws S5 Series (Intel XMP) 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin SDRAM DDR5 6000 CL32-38-38-96 . I think the only difference is timing as they are same brand and same series…
Some mobos don't like DDR5 in all 4 slots, I'd check your manual
AMD EXPO Kit here: https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/product/B0C1TKSDKR/
Bought yesterday but only had 1 in stock so I couldn't post.
How much did you get it for? The price keeps fluctuating.
about $210ish
Got some G.Skill Ripjaws V 16GB 3200MHz DDR4 (2x16GB) in 2020 ($158). Is it better to add two more 16gb sticks or sell and get 2x32? Another 2x16 probably easier. Just asking as I'm thinking about tax time, probably don't need but windows 11 is worse performance wise on some apps (tempted to load up win10 again due to one particular issue).
The deal is for DDR5 so not useful for you. Also, 32GB you already have is huge. Are there specific apps you're using that are exceeding that usage?
Yes was more of a general question - agree probably not worth overcapitlising was just hinking of any tax time upgrades but probably no point and get new gen stuff later.
Just having some issues with the software but it's most likely windows 11 updates or version problems, will most likely do a clean win 10 install).
Some modelling and cad software I use gobble it up but 32GB is pretty decent, agreed.
although $110 for more isn't much
Decent CL speed. Not a bad all-rounder
