  • Doesn't seem to be much in the way of independent reviews for this thing… can anyone comment? I've got some suede shoes in need of some love.

Aren’t you meant to use special brushes for suede?

I would call myself a sneaker enthusiast and I'd never use this on any pair. Leather, suede, mesh. The wrong pressure or spending too long in one spot would wreck the material imo. Just like an average Joe using a powered polisher on their car

Here’s a previous deal that has more insight to this.

  • My sneaker cleaner is free, well I do feed her lunch/dinner etc.

      Hur hur hur.

      • Cheers. I have the same brand dishwasher.

  • Can use to clean car?

    • Best for face cleansing

  • I just take the inner soles out of mine and put them through the washing machine with some Sards and Omo and they come out sparkling.

I've done a bit of research on this, seems to be fairly superficial, not much torque so if you apply any sort of pressure it will struggle. It's also battery powered with AA's. Some people use eneloops I guess. I personally use Jason Markk sneaker cleaner and a brush and it has done the job on every pair I own. If you really need to get mud out of treads etc then a rough brush would be just as good as using this thing.
