  • Is it worth $150 for arm rests and another $135 for a headrest?

Was looking at the ergotune supreme and waiting for it to come back down to a cheap price… But maybe this is better

    • As far as I'm aware the consensus is arms yes, headrest no. Source: BTODtv

  • How does it come packaged? IE in a big box or smaller bits and pieces… Small car problems

    • If you choose pickup or local white glove service it comes delivered fully assembled. For regional delivery they are typically shipped in a simple knockdown package that takes 3-5 minutes to assemble. You can see an example for Series 1 here: https://youtu.be/yHhsg_4cHnA

Please note that some items are only available for local delivery or pickup for compliance reasons, and cannot be shipped regionally.

    • +1

For pickup it'll be wheeled out of the warehouse fully assembled (and the wheels scuffed and dirty from being wheeled around a warehouse)

      • +2

TBH, at this price you'd kind of expect them to roll out a red carpet and keep the wheels clean.

      • Hello Foohy,

This should not be happening. We did have issues early on with our warehousing providers, but this should have been sorted now. If you have experienced this recently, please PM with your order details and I will follow up with our local operations team.

  • will the no mesh seating be too hot in QLD?

  • Holding out for the Lamia

    • The Amia just looks like a "Steelcase" Embody…?

      • Lamia is the back of a Leap and the seat of a Amia.

      When will it be out?

Hi OP, where can I find the headrest? I have a Leap with arms but can’t find the headrest to purchase.

    • Watching reply as need one also

    • Hello Superfly,

Leap Headrest is installed at the factory level, so we are not able to sell it separately.

  • Worth upgrading from a 10 year old Aeron to a Leap? is that even an upgrade?

    • its a sidegrade, depends on you.

  • I have been assembling Steelcase desks and chairs for Telstra employees for the last 2y. The only time I had to go back to "fix" one, the person actually unplugged the power cable from the control box. these are expensive but I am pretty sure they will last a long time.

    • Comparing to a moderately priced Ergonomic Chair, are Steelcase chairs much better for supporting the back?

  • Is there now a gesture model with lumbar support?

  • $209 shipping to QLD kind of removes any value on the sale. For Brisbane buyers, https://www.arkienvironments.com/ is an authorised Steelcase dealer and offers pick up from their warehouse. They currently have both the Leap and Gesture on sale. Ends up being cheaper once you add shipping.

What are some factors that would lead you to buy a Leap over Gesture or vice versa? Unable to test and a bit torn between the two.
