Schweppes Agrum Citrus Blend - Supply Issues or Discontinued?

Schweppes Agrum (citrus blend) appears to no longer be stocked at Colesworth. The sugar free variety survived on the shelves for a long time, but now it seems only Agrum Blood Orange remains.

Does anyone have an details on whats happening? I can't find shelf space at my locals, but for the last few months there was always limited stock that went very quickly.

Else - does anyone have a good way to source? 1.1L x 12 on amazon are available for other products but not citrus blend. I'd prefer not to spend twice as much to get it in tiny glass mixer bottles.

One of our friends found a grapefruit 'soda stream' style syrup that might be the closest substitute if its gone forever, but we currently dont have a soda stream.

    Have you emailed Schweppes' AU office and/or the supermarkets?

      Yes to Schweppes' AU. Also tried their Facebook and calling their customer support line but they all looped back to email/submitting enquiry form.

      I thought I'd cast a wide net and see if anyone had seen an update while I wait on Schweppes. As it was out of stock at other sources I didn't think it was a Colesworth issue specifically but contacting them directly may still get me an answer. They are now next on my list.

    Due to current CO2 shortages Schweppes have temporarily stopped producing certain products to prioritise better sellers.

      Ah this is a good thought. If this is the reason then its likely out of stock until new production CO2 comes online towards the end of the year, but may be pushed out longer if there are continued CO2 issues.

      Edit: ^above is my best guess based on things I've heard anecdotally about NSW CO2 supply, if anyone has a better timeline I'd appreciate it.

        Yes, if only we could harness that, as well as the methane from livestock, and buried remains. :)

    This is so sad. The "citrus" flavour was the original agrum before they made it a sweeping collection title and is by far the best flavour!

      I got pretty much the same reply from Asahi about Cottee's Zero Sugar Orange Cordial, which at the time had not been available for many months. I'd like to know what these "supply challenges" really are.

    It's back in stock at my local supermarket now.
