I bought this during the electronic clearance the other week (for $49). Still a really good deal at this price. Not going to be everyone's cup of tea as it's 1080p and wired.

I was able to merge my existing 4 camera Swann system with this 8CH system to make an 8 camera setup. Camera build quality is decent, they have a bit of heft to them.

If you don't end up using it, you still end up with a 1TB hard drive.

  could i use this for some IMOU cameras? i see its a DVR, and i think IMOU cameras use NVR?

  the hardwired option would be great, but the DVR might be useless if i can only work it with an NVR

  I had a QSee door bell and I don’t recommend it. And Catch has almost no customer service

  @rad000 Mine just arrived, but the descriptions say it has 4 alarm in and one alarm out, but the DVR included no longer has them. Did yours have them? I have contacted them coz that was kinda what I wanted. Hope they can sort it.
