Aldi's 17 in 1 tablets are much cheaper and rate high according to Choice iirc.

feel like this sort of stuff should cost $5 lol

It does you are just buying the Apple of dishwasher power.

Aldi Logix Platinum 18 in 1 Dishwashing Tablets Lemon

      $0.18 per tablet.

I recommend trying Aldi and seeing if it works as so many people can't be wrong.

I wanted to like it with the price, but it did a terrible job for me, dirty dishes and an off-putting smell afterwards. Used a couple times and binned the rest of the box before going back to Finish.

    • Yeah similar experience in the past, FWIW in my old Smeg dishwasher

      • Bosch Serie 8 here.

Interesting. We also have a series 8, and I found the same thing - wasn’t happy with the cleaning performance of the Aldi tablets compared to Finish or Fairy..

@NinjaChicken: Delonghi PoS edition here, Aldi's stuff is useless. Doesn't dissolve well, leaves marks on everything and doesn't shift oil and grease. Even the 3 hour nuke-from-orbit mode doesn't like it.
The cheap Finish tablets do far better, with the expensive variety leaving it spotless even without rinse aid.

@NinjaChicken: Same for me. I have photos of the Logix wrappers not dissolving properly.

And for me, Fairy really does do a better job.

Mines a bosch serie 4 and it works fine on any cycle, even the quick wash. Similar performance to Finish.

I got excellent result using Quantum Ultimate Pro in our Miele dishwasher. Worked much better than Aldi.

    • I've got a new westinghouse D/W keep seeing aldi logix wining tests so willing to give them another go. If they dont work I'll use them in my washing machine drum clean cycle..

Just get a refund if you don't like them. Aldi is great with their return policy.

I personally use the aldi 10 in 1 which are 15c and prefer them to finish and the more expensive aldi one

  • I'd recently seen these tablets at bunnings, by memory 70 tablets for $27.

Got home checked online couldnt find them on the website to reconfirm?

Expensive price. A good deal is normally around 35c or less per tab.

    • Any recommendations for a better current deal?

I'm in need of new tablets in the next few weeks and tablets around that price seem to be harder to come by now

  • The Japanese do it better…
