  • The wireless charger is not MagSafe, it’s only compatible to qi tech. If it is MagSafe, it should be max at 15W output for iPhone

    • Do you know of a food wireless powerbank for iphones?

        That sounds bananas

        • :D
          *good

    • I've looked into it, currently there isn't one wireless power bank that can charge an iPhone at 15w, not even the apple battery pack. The Apple battery pack ($139) only charges at 5w on its own, but if you attach a cable (not included) to it with a 20w charger(also not included) it can enable MagSafe and charge at 15w.
Correction: it can charge at 7.5W on its own after apple updated firmware

if you want a second one, just order 1 and checkout. After the checkout page you will get an offer for 5% off , decline that and you will get a 10% offer

    • yeah, noticed that after purchase. Not terribly happy now.

  • Any one know a decent charger with a power cord to the power point rather than plug directly into the power point?

The listing says 100W and 156W. Could you please clarify?

        • +2

100W via single USB-C port. 156W max when all 4 ports are plugged in.

      • This is a better price than Amazon. Thank you, got a white one.

      • Thank you.
Place an order for one, hope it good as it sound.

  • I just bought 2 Powerpods 65W for travel and a Magpod for travel. Fingers crossed! Already own a Powerpod and wish I'd selected the travel version then. Oh well, COVID brain! ;)

I've got two of the mag charging battery packs and I'm not impressed.

    • They both overheat like a MOFO and will often stop charging the phone because it gets too hot.
    • I don't believe for an instant that they are rated for 10000mAh. 5000mAh at best. Leaving it connected to the phone for vampire charging drains the battery super quick.

I tested it on an iPhone 13 mini and connected it to the phone when it was at 100%. So both the phone and the charger started out at 100%. It drained the battery pack to:

    • 50% in 2 hours 47 mins (phone was still sitting at 100% charge)
    • 30% in 3 hours 51 mins (phone was then sitting at 97% charge)
    • 23% in 4 hours 38 mins (phone was then sitting at 93% charge)

I also paid double this price only a few weeks back so I'm even more salty about it now.

    • MOFO would be a good name for one of those no-name Amazon off-brands.

      • @ibelievesyd Zyron Rep - I had bought this from Catch and can concur to the above that this is a 5000mAh capacity at best. Do you have some spec sheet and some certification from the factory where this is made. I charged directly via the USB-C of the magpod to rule out any efficiency/loss at wireless charging but still looks the battery capacity is more like 5000 mah. Can you folks do a test and conform what should be our remedy for this ?

        • May I know the number of charges do you get when using wired charging? please mention your phone model.

    • Please contact us here via pm or Chat button on the website. We'll replace it for you.

  • I need Powerbank for my old Samsung Tablet, might die on some train trips.

Is this suitable? I have a Pixel 7 Pro…just can't see myself using the power bank other than when traveling.

  • Can’t recommend this, looks to be broken or fake capacity, several times it’s shown 50%+ few mins later it’s zero 0%
I’ll keep testing using cables per above comment but don’t have much belief in a battery I need when I need it actually having any power in it.
