  Why would anyone buy these huge drives that only write at 15mb/s?

  Do they only need it for the read performance and write data to the drive very infrequently?

      Yeah anytime you see them say super fast READ speeds and not mention write speeds its going to be a dog. Got some fast PNY usb 256gb ones a few years ago and its so nice writing at 80mb/s or whatever vs my other slow ones

      Actually seems the PNY ones are bad also these days dunno whats going on glad I got an older model
