  • How can we get the 20% off targeted offer?

    • Was send to me by email ' I register my s23u with that email.

      • I am not signed up to their newsletter. So no 20% off for me

    I see $520 for the watch… Am I missing something…

  • 461 bucks for me

    • That’s for the watch only.

  • +1

Is there a coupon code for the targeted 20% off? And did someone actually tried it and it stacks with the Secret sale coupon?
    Can someone confirm?
So many questions, not enough answers.

I wouldn't risk dealing with Samsung directly again, their support is an absolute horror show. I escalated an issue a number of times to the line manager and was told that it would be further escalated to a case manager. Nothing. There support team doesn't take accountability for anything and they have outright lied. Different departments don't talk to each other, so each time you get passed around they make you re-authenticate your details. I had to send them a picture of the item received and then 3 days later I get a call from a different department asking whether I had received the item! Life is too short.

I’m still waiting for my $1600 I paid to them
I will not give my one cent to them!!!
      Never!!!
Always an Apple man now. Don’t care.

I waited 2 months to get my money back for the TV I never received

        • Sorry to hear mate

      • +2

I'm in the same boat as you folks.

Their products might be nice, but their service / customer support is absolutely horrific.

        Samsung - never again.

    • Similar experience with 85" TV…. including being asked for proof of purchase just about every time I was serviced by a new person - despite already providing a copy to the person I talked to previously. Ended up providing a copy 4 or 5 times in several months. Had screen replaced in TV 3 times, the first one was supposedly damaged in transit and they didn't realise until installed in TV so they had to remove and put the original screen back in. After 6 months of dealing with it and 3 screen replacements they wanted to give me a refund or store credit. I wanted a replacement TV but they said they didn't have any 85" TV's in stock (during COVID). I went onto their website and found several models of 85" for sale and contacted Samsung with the details. They ended up giving me a 2022 model to replace my 2021 model (in 2022) and the replacement TV is great. Their service is NOT.
Anyway, I could go on and on about problems I experienced with their customer service. If they didn't have great products you'd never buy anything from them….

Im same boat. 2 months and no TV

Got a email today from Samsung

Its about how to use my new TV LOL

Glad it is not just me, I have been waiting for almost two months for my watch and it has not moved from processing.

I have raised this with support like a dozen times and nothing.

The icing on the cake was when I got a call from Samsung which I assumed was to follow up on my case. It was a customer satisfaction call to see if the case was resolved and if I was happy with the product! They kept asking me to rate the process from 1 to 10 and I said 0 because I haven't got the flipping thing!!!

I bought a Samsung Smart Monitor from a retailer, but it came with a different remote to the one pictured on Samsung's website. It wasn't a big enough deal that I wanted a refund from the retailer, but I wanted to see if Samsung would send me the correct remote. Dealing with them was bizarre. No one knew what they were doing. They ended up sending a third party repairer to my house to look at the monitor, which wasn't broken in any way whatsoever. He was like "Yep. That's not the remote in the photo. There's nothing they'll let me do about it though".

Eventually I got a $50 visa gift card.

    Disgusting threatment!!!!!
    Where do I start.
Pulling my hair here. The frustration the anger the hopelessness. It’s been 2 months since I made my order. They failed to deliver my items then after many calls and messages still failed. They asked me to return these items that I never received. Then told them that I never received and then asked for refund. Third week now and chasing my own money. Apparently they have to have these items back in their warehouse before they can issue a refund. I told them that’s not my problem it’s Samsung’s. Asked for escalations. Over and over again. No good. They keep saying they will be in touch in two to ten business days. They said that forever. Never received a call or email or any message. They keep lying.
Think about this. I am an Apple user coming back to Samsung.
And have a look at what I been trough!!!
Words not enough to express my anger and suffering.
I had enough of these lowlife companies that never give. They should be penalised.
I will never use a Samsung product ever!!!
I will spread my message so no one gets hurt like me. Do not buy anything of them. They are scams.

wow so sorry to hear you have to go through all those bs from Samsung. I had bad experience with Samsung too. Looking forward to the Pixel fold so I can forget about Samsung completely.

      • Thank you. I used Samsung phones before. Had some issues then went on to Apple. This was first time tried going back but ended up so bitter. Lesson learned hard way. $1600 gone. :(

Why don’t people use PayPal? Always always use PayPal. I had issues too, but once I got PayPal involved, I got my money back in a couple of weeks.

      • I used Afterpay but can’t seem to find an option to ask them for money back. I wish I didn’t.

          • @GJT: Thank you but unfortunately it says contact Samsung to resolve
It’s unreal. I made some research and a lot of people around the world experienced the same issues with Samsung. Many either couldn’t get their item or money.

            • +1

@Morpheus: Give Afterpay a call and see mate. Nothing to loose at this stage.

      • Not really. I already consumer affairs.

  • Managed to get it down to $376 but not a fan of the purple S/M band for the black watch :|

    Will probably pass

    • Can you please send me the code if you are not using it?

    • Looks like you can add both variants and remove the the colour mix you don't want so can get black + blue

      Still going to pass

For those interested in the Q/B series soundbar, the prices are:
    HW-Q930B (RRP$1,199 - no stock, doesn't show $ECR4T discount)
    HW-Q800B (RRP$1,099) - discount $400 - $150 ($ECR4T) = $549
    HW-Q700B (RRP$899) - discount $400 - $100 ($ECR4T) = $399 (on pre-order, ships 26/04)
    HW-Q600B (RRP$799) - discount $350 - $100 ($ECR4T) = $349

Not the best prices in the world, but historical low according to OzB.

3.1.2 systems: Q600B vs Q700B (addition of Airplay, Wi-Fi + SpaceFit, all else being equal)
    5.1.2 Q800B = Q700B + 2 additional front speakers

Caveat still applies buying from Samsung site. YMMV and delays and all that.

If the Q930B had stock and a reasonably good discount, this would be the ideal buy.

    • Paid $764.15 last month for the Q930B, which included 15% loyalty discount. Pretty happy with it.

  • tried to stack as well but no luck,
tried 20% then secret sale code and then vice-versa but unsuccessful

  • ok so it seems i got it working.
I had to click through the redeem link on the email that had the 20% off code, added the watch to cart then applied the 20% off code and then the secret sale code. in cart now shows $376

Samsung sucks so bad, similar to other poster above I placed an order ($1900) worth on the 24th of February and still haven't received my order and they tell me lies every time I talk to them. The latest delivery was the 17th of April and still nothing.
My delivery was initially on board with the driver on the 28th of February however it was taken back to Samsung at their request and since then it has been a nightmare dealing with them.

Absolute legends. Thanks to @Elquines for posting the deal and to @Unorthodox for the 20% off coupon. I managed and bought one for $326. After adding secret sale coupon and $50 newsletter coupon. Bargain!!!!!

  • Bro you're a legend , 326 is a crazy price

    • I have been waiting for a good deal on this specific watch for a while now. Finally I managed and got a bargain. Let's see now how Samsung goes with their delivery.

      • My order is still in awaiting for approval, hope they don't cancel our order

  • @Elquines click on the report button and request a giveaway thread for coupon codes. So many people are after a code.
Personal request praise the OP for his post. This is an awesome deal.

  • Bloody annoying. Site won't apply the discount. Tried the edu site and that won't even add the watch to the cart. Just says error adding to cart. FFS Samsung.

    • +1

Add the watch first, then add 20% off code, after that add the secret sale code and after add the $50 newsletter coupon if you have one. $326 total.

    • +1

I managed to get into the edu site and it doesn't seem like the codes work on there

      • Probably those codes are not for the edu store. But they definitely work on the normal site.

  • +2

Weird i got email about secret sale but not the 20% off

  • +2

    Updated in post
Alternatively, if you don't have a code, you may want to proceed with the trade-in bonus from Samsung.

Trade-in bonus of $150 + trade-in values when you trade in any eligible device, which results in a total of $370 - (trade-in value)
Trade-in bonus doesn't stack with the 20% off targeted coupon but does stack with the secret sale.

    • Thanks, went with this. $1.00 galaxy buds trade in. They won't be returned. I may be subject to $61 non return charge, but $380 is OK all up.

      • How do you trade in the buds?

        When i go to

        https://www.samsung.com/au/tradeup/

The option for buds doesn't come up for me. I typed in "galaxy" and also tried "buds", but nothing comes up.

        • +1

It works in the Samsung trade-up app via google play. Not sure about ios version.

  • I was considering this as an upgrade from my Watch4 which only has BT. I did want to get an LTE watch again but the providers offering LTE plans for watches are quite thin on the ground and expensive. Decided to not go through with the purchase.

Thing that sucks was that they have put a pre authorisation charge on my card as I wanted to calculate the trade in. Going to message them tomorrow to remove it or get my bank to undo it. Quite annoyed by that.

    • +1

urgh dont use LTE on a watch unless you happy to charge it every 4-5 hours.
some people get LTE model because sometimes this model has bigger battery compare with BT only model. but thats it.

  • I already got the Galaxy Watch5 44mm from the recent S23 Ultra deal, but I just can't resist this deal Lmao
    https://imgur.com/a/g47dnzE

    • Well lucky you have two arms! One watch on each both happy now

      • Hahaha. I need to sell Watch5, I think it would be enough to cover the cost of Pro

        • Whats the diff. Between pro/not?

          • @CyberMurning: Pro is a bit bigger. Titanium vs Aluminium, Battery 590mAh vs 410mAh. I would never buy any Samsung devices at RRP but with the deal it’s good.

  • +1

The S/M sapphire and S/M purple bands are out of stock. This appears to prevent any further purchases of either watch using the Secret sale. I missed out. You snooze, you lose!

    • Bugger

    • yeah it added the titanium black ver instead in cart

    • +1

Yep, all out of stock. Typical Samsung ruining deals

      • Hmm probably the code stacking was an error, same as the big bonus trade in long time ago. (They pulled early)

        • I mean, they do a similar deal with the Government/EDU portals nearly every year. Steep discount + can stack with $50 off code, usually under <$400 for the watch. Bought the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Pro Classic this way.

          • @hardcoreshilling: $50 code always can, but the 20pct and secret code, i think that combo shouldn't be stackable. Well i dont know man, we need ozb member who work for samsung.

            • @CyberMurning: Usually, the Government/EDU portal already discounts it with their random 40% code every so often, so stacking isn't required to achieve a great price. But it's whatever, Samsung is a shit company in general, took over 8 weeks to receive a refrigerator from them, and it was nothing but excuses from them about why it was taking so long.

              • @hardcoreshilling: I see..
Another example i just checked my order history, mobile phone i bought (and received) 3 years ago, its status is "on the way" still lol

      • +1

Sapphire watch band is back in stock!

        • Bought. Thank you so much!! 🙏 OzBargain notifications 🙏

        • And gone again

  • Can someone please explain how to get watch 5 pro to 320 with the trade in.? My price is 720 before any discounts.

    • It looks like the watch band is out of stock, if it's in-stock you can apply the code $ECR4T and the trade-in

      • +1

Or the 20% discount code instead of the trade-in. I received the code this morning around 10:30AM

  • Thanks for the instructions fellas, but neither the code nor the voucher is working, my final price is $720

    • +1

Do you have the 20% discount code?

      • If you do, you input it first, hit redeem or whatever and then the $ECR4T code

  • @hardcoreshilling, no i don't have the code, but can't request on the forum
I did register on the Samsung website but did not receive any promotion code email.

  • Ridiculously good price and it just reiterates my point of how worthless Samsung products really are.
Sign up to our newsletter letter and we'll give you discount codes for absolutely nothing? LOL What?
How can you regard yourself as a premium manufacturer when you're selling your products for next to nothing?
Good luck to those who purchased, I hope you receive your device. And if you don't, your refund.

    • +1

Samsung never regards themselves as a premium manufacturer. In fact they are quite affordable with a variety of products. You have probably used an Samsung MicroSD card. Even in a developing country like Vietnam you can see a lot of samsung Galaxy A series.

The fact that their high-end product is top-notch in quality has nothing to do with their pricing. This kind of deal is extremely limited to Samsung member. The Korean business highly valued their loyal customers and you get offers within their ecosystem. That’s how you get the ‘loyalty team’ sending out loyalty coupons via emails and calls.

Their marketing strategy is just different. Or you can go with Watch 5 Pro LTE RRP $779 or stick to Apple or other brands. I chose Samsung because of their affordable pricing. However, I do agree that the customer service and the logistics in Samsung Australia is wrecked lol

For those who miss out this deal. I believe there are more upcoming deals for the watch 5 pro
