Womens Digital Watch under $150

She leads a busy life yet doesn't use the functions of a smart watch, just needs a basic watch. Was hoping I could get a solar one at this price point? Either way any recommendations will be helpful.

  • im sure kmart sells cheap ones.
why solar? does she even go outdoors for a significant amount of time?

    • Don't want kmart watch, no way been down that road before.
Solar would be good because you don't need to pay a jeweller to replace battery.
      Yes Vitamin D is Vital!

      • you don't need to pay a jeweller to replace Battery. you can do it yourself

        • Didn't know that, thought the water resistance seal needed to be replaced etc. Didn't know it was easy. Thanks.

          • @figarow: depends on the watch yes. some does need the water proof seal replaced. and even if the battery doesn't need replacement i think they still say to check every two years.

Give her a baby g-shock. They can be had for less than $150.

    • These look like the go, seem quite robust also!

      • Just double check which ones are solar if that really is a must, but changing batteries is pretty easy.

Edit, if you want really budget there is the Casio F91W which is a classic and very good despite the low price of ~$30, or for a slightly bigger watch that is solar there is the G-shock G5600E-1 around $160

  • Kospet M series, Oled display, health advice and super duper clear phone talk to watch via Bluetooth to mobile.

    • Don't need the functionality of a smart watch. I looked on Amazon and could only find the M2 for $200.

      • Oh I got the M2 on ebay for $81 delivered. Shitty screen (IPS) but can talk for hours on a charge and other side does not even know I am on the phone. Sorry i screwed up, the T2 is more suitable for women, round with Oled, usually under 100 on ebay. My mate got the Apple diving and the phone quality is rather close if not used inside shopping centres.

        • Can you save grocery list to display on the watch , or dictaphone function recording voice notes ?

          • @dcep: No. Kospet makes more sort of health watches, pulse, blood oxygen and a reasonable guess at blood pressure with calories burn. Love the phone function.

  • Not sure you will find much in the way of a solar watch which also has LCD type numbers - they usually make the face of the analogue watch the solar panel to make it big enough to work. You might find a 'kinetic' type where the movement of the arms generates the power, but they tend towards the expensive end.

Assuming the reason you don't want analogue is because she has difficulty reading normal clocks, that kind of leads you to the smart watches and bands - which have obviously taken over the low end. Try the Haylou (actually Xiaomi) Solar LS05, which has optional digital numbers, and a long battery life inside your price range. https://www.amazon.com.au/Android-Fitness-Tracker-Smartwatch…

  • 8-10 qty of skmei 1628 watches depending on exchange and cashback/promos at the time lmao

Broken? Lost? Want a new colour?
    No problemos!

  • What about an older second hand Apple Watch? If you fine with charging it nightly then it still makes a fine watch with swappable watch faces, plus will track your heart rate and give you silent phone notifications. Assuming she uses an iPhone that is. Though the always on display on newer Watches is something I couldn't live without now.

Cheers for the replies everyone, got her a baby g-shock. Those cheaper generic looking Casio are not girly enough :)

    • Which color did you get?
