Saw it on my commonwealth card app last night, I believe it's target, on my parents apps shows Get $5 Cashback When You Spend $15 or More at Chemist Warehouse looks like an even better deal

    T&Cs say that it excludes prescriptions but I'm assuming much like the Coles offers where it says excludes gift cards, they can't actually tell what you've purchased whether it's prescription items or gift cards for using later.

      I was thinking this too. The T&C’s don’t seem to exclude gift cards, so you could essentially buy a $70 GC and use that to pay for your prescriptions.

          Gift card should work as there was no condition on the promo and Commbank just see the $70 spent in chemist warehouse.

          Or apply for a CBA credit card and be approved. CBA asked me for lots of evidence for approval last year. It may be not easy without a bank accout. For example, I tried to apply for Flex MasterCard by Westpac (for Shopback deal) and got knocked back twice. I won't deposit $2k/mth for it.

    You can buy a $70 GC in store if don’t need anything now. Done this in the past with CBA and no issues receiving the cashback.

    I’ve activated the offer, and spent the money, but the transaction is showing up as My Chemist. Super annoyed that I’ll have to chase this up with the receipt to get the cashback.

        Thanks, I’ll give it time to sort itself out then. I knew it was associated with My Chemist, but didn’t expect that on my transaction list. I’ve had an Amex Ampol deal that showed as Caltex transaction, and although under the same group, the cashback never came through. I still need to chase it up, and I’m loathing the thought of it.
