KontrolFreek have 50% off coupons on select thumbsticks, grips and kits for XBox, PS4 and Switch controllers. For reference, the KontrolFreek FPS Freek Galaxy Purple for Xbox One and Xbox Series X Controller was $15 at checkout and I think is selling for $39 at JB HiFi (model no. isn't the same, but they do look exactly the same).

Sorry, I couldn't see any that were specific for PS5. Can anyone confirm if these PS4 will fit PS5?

    For $15 I think it's worth seeing if they make any difference. I didn't go with the grip stuff. Don't know if I trust them when they say it doesn't leave any residue.

        I use them and like them because it soft rubber, my thumb hurt if using the stick without it when playing long time.
        And having a raised stick really helps.

  Gen X FPS gamer here - I bought the purple ones for my PS5 controller. I think it improved my accuracy but I had to get used to the thumb positions being higher. Clicking the thumb stick to run on COD games was making my thumb sore but setting auto-run on sorted that out. At this price it isn’t going to break the bank if you don’t like it.

  Used them for years.

  They are great because;

  A) If you have an expensive controller, they prolong the life of the rubber on the default sticks.

  B) Can interchange them accordingly if you want to try different setups. Higher rise sticks help with aim, low with movement etc.

  Thanks OP, Having a raised right stick does improve me on fps shooters, I was able to increase my sensitivity .

  You can also buy some fake Kontrol Freeks on Aliexpress for less. Works the same. Highly recommeded if play lots of FPS. It does improve my accuracy and i cant play without it now.

            @7hours 44min ago: I do do my research and that sort of info does come up occasionally. I think maybe I stay away from Aliexpress because I've heard too many bad stories? I'm not good at dealing with the sorts of problems that arise when you go with smaller, sometimes shadier operators. I'd rather just pay a little more and know if I run into trouble I can pretty much just press a few buttons, and get a refund sorted basically no questions asked.

      I often find eBay or Amazon is a good alternative, though not as many choices.

      On the other hand, Aliexpress doesn’t seem to have much higher end products

  I've always looked at these but never tried them as I always felt they were overpriced. Yet just picked up a set of KontrolFreek Destiny 2 CQC Signature Edition for Xbox One on clearance for $1 @ JB Hifi. Haven't tried them yet but thought I'd give them a go for $1.

  You can always get some of those cheep thumbstick covers that work fairly well if you just want to protect them from wearing out.

    From the few minutes of research I did before I pulled the trigger, people said that you got the most benefit from the mixed rise ones. I just went with the purple ones as they had the most ratings and I think they'll look nice on my white controller.

  Just a bonus jack, the Xbox one's fit on Switch Pro controllers with a little help.

  I bought them because default switch pro sticks suck for grip, just got the omni (basically no rise) for the grip and larger pad for comfort
