  Got caught up reading the review from someone who won it and gave it 2 stars, seems disappointing and lacking creativity/effort in this edition.

    Sword and Shield were the tech demo test for the actual mainline pokemon switch experience; Scarlet and Violet (which ironically they still haven't got the "tech" part right since the game runs at 20fps but at least the gameplay and content is much more fleshed out and engaging). The campaign is basically nonexistent, as well as the postgame content. The only thing to do in the game is run around the wild area and farming dynamax raids, it's legit a joke but it seems to be a trend since gen 6 (x/y) and onwards.
