      Wouldn't bet on it..Kids. My 5 year old has access to a PS5 with Deluxe membership for a massive catalogue of games. A PSVR2. A Nintendo OLED with countless games. He turns 6 next week. "What do you want for your birthday, buddy?". Thinking he'd say some version of a Rubik's cube as he has been into those as of late. His answer?.An Xbox Series X he says. He won't be getting an Xbox any time soon. Can still adopt them out at this age, right? I'm kidding.

        My 8 year old has a Series X, Modded 3DS, pretty much stole my gaming PC, Gaming PC in his room that's not good enough for his high standards, mod chipped switch and an oculus quest 2. Spoiled little shits.

            @seamonkey: I just used to play in the garden. Dig holes etc. Stickers were treasured for their rarity. Glow in the dark was unknown.

        I never said I was a greenie - I loathe wastefulness and cheap junk. People on here buy so much crap because it's cheap instead of buying quality things that last. Since you're so good at finding comments I'm surprised you don't refer to my comments on cheap alkaline batteries…..but guessing you didn't refer to those because it doesn't fit your narrative.

        And it never ceases to amaze me how people on here can use tech to stalk people.       I have to agree, seriously hate this ewaste crap. Not only is it just ending up in a landfill, the raw materials used to create these heaps of shit could've been used on proper hardware built to last. Landfills are an issue yet to be solved, but for f sake we know how to build shit to last there is really no excuse for churning these things out. The only consolation is at $7 a piece there can't be too much value in the raw materials.

        100% mate…. My Sony xm3's have lasted 4 yrs and still perform brilliantly. Something like this doesn't perform anywhere near as well and it hence turns into a throwaway item very quickly.
