Waiting for that bloke to come tell us how trash the motors are

    • 🦿

    • Wonder whether they can advise on chaining/splitting existing control boxes to the various brands of linear actuators

Or control via raspbi, arduino and head down the smart home automation route

  • Seems expensive

Would combining linear actuators from the value kits we see on OzBargain be viable

For the number of sit-stand frames that could be purchased

~120kg lifting capacity dual motor $200

Yeah this doesn't seem that cheap. I had a custom made single piece corner desktop 1.8x1.8m (and my choice of laminate finish), a 3 piece leg motor system and that was $1,800 total.

Nice. I'm looking to do the same. May I ask where you purchased yours from?

  • The website says $1248. Not sure why this listing says 1448 unless I'm missing something.

    • For some reason OP is quoting the price for the optional “cable management + 8 plugs”.

Edit nope even that is $10 different

  • wow… Baller goods on OZB…we are moving up market boiz!

I would just buy 2 rectangular Kmart/IKEA tables and put them adjacent to each other for the cheapskate version.

    $150, that's cheap!

  • This actually seems cheaper than the other major players in this space (Zenspacedesk, Desky)
