Ecovacs Deebot N8 Pro Robotic Vacuum $449 + Delivery ($0 C&C) @ The Good Guys Commercial (Membership Required)

150

Just pulled the trigger on this for the wife for mother's day (Yes I checked with her first if it was ok!).
Must have Good Guys Commercial access for this price. $799 on their regular website.

I know there are mixed reviews on Ecovacs robots but at this price I thought it worth it.

  • My Deebot Ozmo 920 won't charge. Let's see whether replacing battery will fix it.

Why would you buy something for your wife on Mother’s Day?

I am just going to go out on a limb and say that its maybe because she's a mother? The kids dont have credit cards and a driver's license to get their own present? Just a guess.

Do you like it when she calls you daddy?

  • Got the same model at home. Giving issues with network connections.

  • Quality is bad. Bought same model last November and got drop sensor issue now, not working anymore. Won't buy anything from deepot.

  • Dont buy it. Got the same model. Hasn't mapped the house for the last 3 months. Roborock FTW.

  • I've been using one for a year, two different homes. Only minor issues where it sometimes gets lost and I need to put it in front of the fridge so it recognises its location and doesn't remap the house.

Pretty good vacuum, mop function not really worth it. Used to do a better job navigating efficiently than it does now but still does the job.

  • Got one of these, good little unit. We have tiles and just give a good manual mop and vac in corners fortnightly.

  • Have a T9, the app is really slow to load the map but havnt had any issues with the mapping being lost or started again. It didn't show on the wifi once and the drop sensors seem to get dusty quickly and need wiping, but apart from that it just does its job, mopping is decent too.

  • If you tech savvy then it's OK to buy ecovacs, if you not better buy dreame or roborock. The robot is ok but the company simply don't give an F about their previous product and don't bother to create software update..

    • Tech savvy in terms of troubleshooting things or other? Is there 3rd party firmware that can be installed on these or something?
