It’s a very good watch, ECG, BP etc. not that hard to charge for 30mins each day
Anyone that has a samsung LTE watch, which company are you using for the LTE part? I used to have a watch 3 with LTE and could only use it with a Telstra One number service which was like $60 ($55 base plan and $5 for the watch connection).
Options are still very very limited
I just use a prepaid vodafone esim plan. It works standalone, no number syncing. The $40 starter pack has 1GB data, $40 calling and SMS credit, lasts for a year, and can often be found for way less than $40 on ebay. Very limited unfortunately and you need to be on a plan.
Going to sell the watch on marketplace as LTE was the only reason I wanted it and not going on a plan just for that.

Yes, you can use any provider that offers eSIMs if you don't mind having a different number for your watch.
@G-rig: Yup works fine. That's what I usually do when I leave my phone behind when going for a run.
If you make a call or send a text message when away from the phone, it'll be sent using the watch number.Although, the watch defaults to turning off mobile connectivity when connected to the phone using bluetooth. I haven't had it "always on" to know about battery life.
@adamshere: I use Lebara, it was $10/365 days for me, but apparently now $15/365days

Got Watch4 Classic from the last round of deals, happy with it!
Picked it up from JB Hifi yesterday. Received another $30 off due to repackaged. So $135 for an LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi, and GPS watch is to me a good bargain.
First impression so far charging time is sloow to 100%.
How slow is slow?
My fitbit is about 1-2 hours.
Apple watch is about 2.5 hours to 100 per centTo explain. I got this watch at 0%. I charged it at 7pm last night. Before I slept yesterday at 1.50am, it was 83%. However it went through a major update which I could see draining the battery a bit despite I had it docked. Also note I had it charged while the watch was on.
I took.it off so it wouldnt charge overnight at 83%. This morning at 7.30am, it was 79%. I docked it again. It is now 100%.
So my guess it is somewhere between 2 to 3 hours.
I am continuing to observe this watch.
Sounds alright, updates and stuff would chew the battery.
Weird mine charged from 0 - 100% within 45 minutes

I ordered mine on the day (Green) but still coming up as Unfulfilled. When I was ordering, I couldn't select Pick up (ACT), so had to get it delivered, said originally when i selected toll express that it would be the 4th of May, but at the end after I ordered it, said end of June on the processed screen. I will poke them if it is still Unfulfilled by end of week as I should get the 5.99 back for express if I'm not getting it express.

I’ve noticed there appears to be an abundance of 2022 stock this year which surely should’ve sold out by now however it keeps getting replenished. This definitely goes to show that people aren’t spending like they used to. I read somewhere that this is due to people splurging during COVID from money that would’ve normally been used on holidays and now no one needs/wants to upgrade. A case of over supply and under demand. The watch 5 pro appears to be the pick of the bunch and should see some heavy discounts soon enough.
