Warning: these freebies require playing the game.

Some may cringe, but Fortnite have unveiled a Star Wars Prequel collaboration for the next few weeks. Among various other things it includes a mini-Star Wars pass with (imo) a pretty decent free tier.

To unlock the freebies, you go in-game, and scroll to the Star Wars page. You have to complete quests to unlock, the easiest worthwhile of which is a Coruscant Guard skin which should only take a few matches if you focus on the quests. Plus, they've added lightsabers and the force, so it's more fun than usual for Star Wars fans.

On the paid side of things, they've released Darth Maul as a premium part of that mini pass, who will apparently come to the item shop, but would likely be double the cost than buying now through the 1000 vbuck cost of the mini battle pass.

TLDR: Linked page is just a news article, complete the in-game quests on any platform to claim rewards.

    Thanks! This will go great on my Xbox Series S where I am emulating games via Dev mode (which is surprisingly easy to do).

    Sure beats playing games on the Switch like a Nintenbot!

      3 weeks. A new lot of quests are added every week(ish).

      I believe May 23. But not all the quests are out yet, new ones come out in 4 days, etc.

      Enough to get the Coruscant Guard now though.

    (profanity) yeah, always love when the lighstabres come back. Haven't played in a few weeks and would have missed it, firing up the update now, cheers OP.

      They added force usage too. I have found the strategy of waiting in the air as long as possible then flying to Anakin/Kenobi/Maul to grab lightsaber and force abilities the way to go to keep it an unofficial star wars sim.

      Meh, clearly helped at least one person above get a free item they otherwise wouldn't have gotten, which is better than a lot of deals.

      Entitled to your opinion but I posted because I knew I'd find this sort of thing valuable if it were me.

    Ok so the only way I can get Darth Maul is spending 1000 Vbucks atm right?

      That's it, but the quests are still coming out so you'd have to wait until they're all out to fully unlock (unless you pay for levels but naaah)

      Given most skins cost 2100 vbucks it's pretty good comparatively given you get a clone trooper too.
